I wake up by myself, peacefully. My phone continues to buzz underneath my head, annoying my almost peaceful awaken. I pull it out and check who it is.

Two were from Madi and one was from Cole.

Madi - Have you made your mind up about the party?

Me - It isn't even the month of.

Madi - See you at school

I laugh to myself while switching over to see what Cole wants.

Cole - Morning

I avert my eyes from his message of last night while answering.

I type a few letters before pausing. Should I be texting him back? He's my friend, what could happen?

Me - Morning.

Cole - Need a ride to school?

Me - Cat is picking me up, but thanks.

He doesn't reply, leaving me to get ready for the day. I go through my closet until finding a black, cropped tank top and jeans. I pair it with a black jean jacket and pair of high- tops.

I brush my hair and teeth quickly before heading downstairs. My mother stands in the kitchen, facing toward the stove.

"Morning Hon, want some breakfast?" She asks.

I ignore her and walk out the front door. My phone pings against my butt, scaring me for a minute.

I sigh as I read the message.

Cat - Be there soon.

Me - K

I sit at the bottom of the steps and wait to see Cat's car. Hearing an engine get closer, I peak out to the road. The bike gets close until I realise who it is.

"What do you want?" I ask, sounding ruder than wanted.

He puts his hands up, "Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed."

I shake my head, knowing I need to stay away from him. I take a glance at him again, he has a slight shine to his forehead from sweat. His hair is normal, messy. He sits straight while staring at me. He looks good.

I shake my thoughts, getting irritated at myself.

"See something you like?" I ask, biting my lip.

He nods, "Sure."

I freeze in shock. A part of me wants to laugh so it's not awkward but the other is caught up in his answer. He chuckles a little before starting up his bike again.

"Why'd you come here to leave?" I ask

"Thought I'd just come by." He shrugs.

I hear the front door close behind me and Cole's face go dull. Turning around, I see my snobby sister standing with her hand on her hip.

"Here to take me to school?" She asks, in a high pitched voice.

"You sure you guys are twins?" He jokes, ignoring her.

"Stop talking to her!" Chloe stomps.

"Come with me." He demands.

I shake my head, "Cat is coming."

"Call her and tell her to not come" He says.

"Cole." I breathe, "Why?"

"I'd rather not leave you with her." He admits.

I roll my eyes before climbing on behind him and pulling the phone to my ear. As talk to her, I hear my sister throwing a fit, making me and Cole laugh. Good bye witch.
