Charlie's P.O.V.

It's been a few days since I and Cole's fight. If he'd let me explain, it'd be better. Even if I told myself everyday that he'd use me, I wouldn't believe it. Hell, I did.

"Charlie, school." There's a knock on the door.

I nod, knowing my mom can't see me. Putting on a black t-shirt and shorts, I head out to my car. Days haven't been the most active due to me being upset.

My phone pings on the dashboard, I hit answer without checking who it is.

"Hey Charles." Madi's voice greets.

"Hey Mads." I say, keeping my eyes on the road.

"Are you going to be at school?" She asks.

"Yeah," I sigh, "Will you?"

"Yeah, is it okay if Oliver sits with us?" She asks.

"Sure, will there be Cole?" I ask.

"He isn't going to school." She sighs.

Why?

I take a deep breath, "Why?"

"My guess is you." She says.

"Okay, I'll see you there." I say.

"Okay, bye." She ends the call.

I sit in silence while driving, the cars zoom by making the only noise. He has been skipping a lot of school lately, only some times he'd be there. He shouldn't be though, I was the one who messed up.

When I get to school, I sit in my first period spot.

"Hey." I hear from behind me.

I look back to see Tyler smiling at me. He's been happy a lot lately and I can't seem to find out why.

"Hi." I say, trying to smile.

"You're still upset?" He asks.

I shake my head, "I'm fine."

"Come here." He wraps his arms around me.

I peck his lips and place my head on his chest.

"He wasn't the best friend anyway." I feel him shrug.

Is he serious?

"What?" I ask.

He shrugs again, "Well, you weren't really close with him."

If only he knew.

The distance was closed often.

I nod, "Yeah." I lie.

"Okay, I have to go but see you later." He kisses my cheek and leaves.

I have to see him.

I get out of my seat and walk out the door way. Madi and Cat spot me and walk over.

"Hey, what's going on?" Cat asks.

"I need to see him." I admit.

"He's not here though." Madi say.

"Yeah, I know where he lives." I shrug.

"Why?" Cat laughs.

"First day I spent with him." I say, "He took me there."

"Wow, fast." Madi sighs.

"Okay, I'm going." I say rushing out the front doors.

I get into my car and immediately pull onto the street. School can wait, I miss him so much.
