Charlie's P.O.V.

It's been a while now. Tyler has been really great to me, Cole and I have talked but we haven't officially agreed to be good. Madi and Cat are coming over to help with an outfit, the party is coming up soon.

"Charlie!" My mother calls.

I rush down stairs to the front door. Madi and Cat stand with smiles. I give them each a hug before letting them in.

"Hey." I sigh.

We walk up the stairs to my room, I kick my shoes off and sit on my bed.

"So what are the plans?" I ask.

"We'll take my car." Cat says

I nod, "Okay, outfits?"

"We can match." Madi adds.

"Okay, what color?" I think.

"How about black and flannel?" Cat suggests.

I shrug, "Okay."

Madi and Cat dig through my closet.

"It's weird not seeing pink in here." Cat says.

I laugh, "I know."

"Why?" Madi asks.

"I guess I realised how childish I was, wanting to change, I figured that would too." I say, shrugging.

They both turn to me with a smile. Cat throws a pair of light denim shorts next to me with a black, cropped tank top. She gives me a wink while I place them more neatly together.

"One last touch." Madi says, placing a black and white flannel on top.

"Nice." I say.

"Go." Cat says.

"Hm?" I ask.

"I want to see it." Madi cheers.

Cat nods in agreement. I stand with the outfit and begin to strip. Madi and Cat look away slightly while I put it on. When I'm done, I adjust in the mirror before turning to them.

"Okay." I say.

They both look at me with smiles.

"Hell. Yes." Cat says.

I laugh, "Okay."

"Now we have to get our's ready for next week." Madi says.

"Next week?" I ask.

"Yeah, time flies when you're having fun with your boyfriend." Cat teases.

I roll my eyes, "Whatever."

Me and Tyler have gone on multiple dates and shared many kisses. No matter, I still didn't feel much. He is so good to me, I'm thankful. Something is just off.

"Hello?"

I look up, "What?"

"She wasn't listening." Madi laughs.

"Sorry, I was just..." I trial off.

"Day dreaming." Cat says.

"No." I laugh, "Just thinking."

"Well, come on, we're going over to Cat's so we can get her ready." Madi says, standing.

"Kay." I say, following.

My phone buzzes in my pocket.

Cole - See you at the party.

My eyes widen and my heart starts to race. I forgot he was going. My phone pings again, not Cole.

Tyler - Hi.

Me - Hey.

Tyler - What're you up to?

Me - Getting ready for the party.

Tyler - Want to go out after?

Me - Yeah, I'll text you when.

Tyler - Okay.

I turn off my phone and catch up with the girls. Gosh, this is going to get frustrating.
