Cole's P.O.V.
Pure silence. I take one last glance before closing my eyes tight.
"Get out then." She laughs.
"I... need you to change quickly." I force out.
"I told you to leave." She says.
"Yeah... before you wouldn't change in front of me." I laugh.
"I'm different." She says.
I nod, hearing her shuffling around, "I know."
"Okay." She says.
I open my eyes slowly, she's fully dressed.
"You're horrible." I grumble.
She shrugs, "You could do something about it."
I shake my head, "I can't."
"What?" She asks quietly.
"Nothing." I stand.
"I need to put my shoes on." She whines.
"Hurry up." I say, walking to the door.
"Dick!" She throws a sock at me.
"I'll be outside, okay?" I ask.
She nods, I walk out and close the door behind me.
Charlie's P.O.V.
Before I wouldn't even pull my shirt off in front of my friends. Now, I did in front of my.... I don't even know what he is. A friend? No, I don't crush on friends. Stupid.
I have a date with Tyler, I'm happy I do.
After pulling my shoes on, I grab my phone and make my way out. I lock my bedroom door and walk down the stairs.
"Morning Sweety." My mother chirps.
"Morning Mommy." Chloe sings.
They begin to talk about something but I don't stay long enough to care. When I get outside, I spot Cole sitting on his bike with his phone.
"Let's go." I jump.
"Okay!" He laughs, handing me the helmet.
I put it on and slide over the bike. When I wrap my arms around him, he sucks in air quickly. I almost smile, hoping it was because of me.
"Are we going to go?" I ask.
"Oh... yeah.. Just yeah." He moves around awkwardly.
"What's got you all jittery?" I ask.
"Nothing." He breathes.
"Okay." I say unconvinced.
Cat's P.O.V.
I stand against the doors of school, waiting for Charlie. Cole is probably taking her today, she didn't call Madi nor me. I see them pull in, she has her arms wrapped around Cole's torso. Goals.
"Took long enough!" I yell.
"Shut up." Charlie laughs.
"She wouldn't stop kissing me." Cole laughs.
I look to her in shock, "Charlie?"
"Not." She shakes her head.
I laugh with Cole, "Fine, make up excuses."
"Shut up!" She squeaks.
"Just giving you a hard time." I nudge her.
"See you." Cole says.
I look back but Charlie continues to walk. When the door closes behind us, I pull her into an empty class.
"Dude, you just rode to school with your crush!" I squeal.
She shrugs, "He's not my crush and it's not the first time."
"I saw it though." I say, "You looked comfortable."
"I wasn't." She assures, "I can't be around him."
"He was in your room." I remind her.
"Yeah but he wouldn't." She trails off.
"Let's get to class, you still have a date with Tyler, you player." I laugh.
