•PROLOGUE•
JASMINE AURORA NOTT had always been different than her twin brother, Theo. She was kind and gentle whilst he was a menace and liked to cause trouble around their mansion. As she grew older, those differences became clearer when she was sorted into Hufflepuff house instead of Slytherin at Hogwarts.
Jasmine had cried that she wasn't in the same house as her brother, but made very good friends in Hufflepuff. Friends Jasmine would have for life.
She was also viewed as an honorary member of Slytherin House by her brother and his friends, she really didn't see what was so bad about the Slytherins once you really got to know them. Their cold hard exterior was a facade in order to aid in self preservation.
Being a pureblooded witch with a last name of Nott she was always aware that her father would choose a husband for her and a wife for her brother. She dreaded the idea, but knew it was inevitable.
Jasmine's Hufflepuff friends never understood this, but her Slytherin friends did. They looked out for the Hufflepuff, always kept a watchful eye and made sure she was respected, which had always made her heart warm.
DRACO LUCIUS MALFOY always kept an eye on the girl. Their parents being friends meant they a lot of the time were paired to dance together at balls and they spent christmases together. Jasmine had never viewed the boy however as anything more than a friend, and sometimes not even that, given the fact she was a Hufflepuff. Though, all that didn't change the fact that her heart had always belonged to him, even if she didn't know it.
Draco had always found the girl alluring, her eyes captivating and her laugh contagious, but would never admit it to himself, least of all his friends. Jasmine felt the same way about him. His voice, his hair, his eyes. Just about everything about him drew Jasmine in.
When their families arrange their marriage, everything changes for the couple and they are forced to recognise their true feelings for one another.
When they finally do admit their feelings for one another, it is clear to everyone around them that they were meant to be.
