•TWENTY NINE•

TODAY WAS THE DAY, JASMINE WOULD NO LONGER BE A NOTT, she would be a Malfoy. Jasmine was so incredibly nervous, but also excited to be able to spend the rest of her life with the man she loved.

That morning, Narcissa had dragged her out of Draco's room and into her own bedroom so that she could help her get ready for her big day.

Narcissa had promised her that You-Know-Who wouldn't be making an appearance and that had put her at ease massively. Nothing screams a happy love filled long lifetime like the darkest wizard of all time.

Narcissa had done her hair beautifully, curling it and pinning two front pieces back whilst leaving a few stray pieces out to frame her face.

Jasmine's makeup was natural, a light coat of mascara, blush and lip gloss was all Jasmine needed to look put together.

She looked absolutely gorgeous. That much was clear to see. The dress accentuated all of her curves beautifully, and looked as though she was born to be married in that dress.

Once Narcissa had finished helping her into the dress, Jasmine turned to face her with tears in her eyes.

"Oh my, Jasmine. You look absolutely gorgeous" Narcissa beamed, also getting emotional herself.

"I wish my mother was here" Jasmine blurted out, trying to hold her tears in so not to ruin her makeup.

"She is here, she's watching over you all the time. She's in your heart. You will have made her so proud" Narcissa told her, taking Jasmine's hands in hers.

"You think so?"Jasmine asked, looking up at the woman through her eyelashes.

"your mother was my best friend, I know so" She added, Jasmine had no idea that her mother and Narcissa had been so close. It made her heart feel warm however that they had been.

Jasmine was about to reply when a knock at the door cut her off, "come in!" Narcissa told whoever it was, the door opened revealing Jasmine's father.

He looked at his daughter standing before him, "You look just like your mother" He breathed out, he looked to be in shock. "you look beautiful, Jasmine" He told her, causing a smile to reach her lips.

"we are ready and waiting" Her father then said, causing Narcissa to rush and use her wand to lift the dress up so that Jasmine could walk without tripping over the dress in her heels.

Jasmine linked arms with her fathers and began to walk down the stairs and to the ballroom, where the wedding was to be held.

Narcissa rushed to take her seat at the front of the room as the bride and her father stood outside the doors, waiting for the music to begin.

"Please don't let me fall" Jasmine said as she looked at her feet.

"I would never" Her father told her, giving her hand a squeeze that was holding onto his arm tightly.

The doors opened as the music began and Jasmine took a deep breath. She walked down the aisle, holding onto her father tightly in order to attempt to hide her trembling hands.

Narcissa really had gone above and beyond for their wedding. The theme was green and silver, of course, with the drapes green and the chairs that guests were sat on had silver linings. It was beautiful.

The faces of various witches and wizards watched as she walked, some of them Jasmine recognised whilst some of them she didn't.

She pushed the thought of watchful eyes out of her mind and looked up to focus on the boy she was to marry.

Her eyes met his and he smiled, she could've sworn she could see tears coming from his eyes. Jasmine's eyes were teary as they got closer together.

Jasmine felt as though her entire world had just stopped at that moment, nothing else mattered than the boy stood in front of her

He was wearing a black suit with a deep Slytherin green tie, and Jasmine thought the boy couldn't get anymore handsome, until she looked at him at the alter.

She loved him, and nothing on earth could ever change that.

Jasmine's father handed Jasmines hands over to Draco as the music came to an end.

Draco squeezed her trembling hands as he looked at her with a smile on his face, giving her a wink. This caused her to smile as she focused on him rather than the people watching on at the wedding.

"We are gathered here today, to celebrate and honour the union of this young witch and wizard, Jasmine Aurora Nott and Draco Lucius Malfoy." The old wizard presiding over the wedding spoke, but Jasmine's and Draco's eyes never left each others.

"May the ring bearer step forward" He commanded, Theo stepping forward with the rings sat gently on a pillow. The rings were simple silver wedding bands, with their names engraved on the insides.

"Do you, Draco Lucius Malfoy, take Jasmine Aurora Nott to be your lawful, wedded wife?" the wizard asked, Draco nodded, smiling at Jasmine, "I do" He said taking the ring off the pillow and placing it on her finger, residing just below her engagement ring.

"Do you, Jasmine Aurora Nott, take Draco Lucius Malfoy to be your lawful wedded husband?" He asked and Jasmine nodded, "I do" She grinned at the boy in front of her, taking the ring from Theo and sliding it onto Draco's finger.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife, now we must proceed to the binding." The wizard told them, the pair nodded and held each others arms. The wizard performed a spell that caused gold sparks to wrap around their arms. The spell lasted for a minute and then stopped. Jasmine and Draco were now bound to one another as husband and wife, for life.

"I declare you bonded for life, you may now kiss the bride" He told them, Draco wasted no time in pulling the girl in to kiss him. As her lips met his she melted into him and in that moment it was just the two of them.

They pulled away slowly, Draco resting his forehead on top of hers, "I love you" He said sincerely, "I love you, too" Jasmine smiled at him. The two linked hands and moved to walk back down the aisle so that his mother could work some magic and make it into a reception area.

As they turned around Jasmine caught sight of Daphne and Blaise sat in the front row. Daphne looked as though she had been crying and Blaise looked very happy.

Jasmine smiled at her friends and continued to walk back down the aisle, people throwing confetti over them both.

It was a happy moment, Jasmine had only wished it could stay this happy forever.
