•TWENTY FIVE•
AFTER DRACO'S CONFESSION, Jasmine approached her brother, in order to tell him that she knew.
He took it well, and was glad that Draco had told her and that he was happy that she knew about him also. It didn't stop her worrying for him though.
He was yet to give Theo a task, and that largely put Jasmine at ease. She was relieved to know that he would be safe for a while longer. She hated the idea of him getting hurt.
Jasmine had also been sent an owl from Slughorn, inviting her to dinner. The letter said it was to recognise her achievements in potions, but she was the only Hufflepuff that had been invited.
Blaise had told her that he was invited and so she wouldn't have to show up by herself which made her feel more comfortable.
The snow had begun to stick heavily at Hogwarts, winter was most definitely there, Jasmine and Theo's birthdays had been and gone, meaning Christmas was coming, and that meant so was her wedding.
Jasmine, Hannah, Megan and Susan sat in their common room, next to the fire. Megan was trying to tell them all a joke but couldn't get it out she was laughing too hard.
The entire group burst into laughter when Megan finally managed to get the joke out. All of a sudden as the girls were giggling next to the fire, Ernie came rushing over.
"Haven't you heard?" Ernie asked, and the group shook their heads. "heard what?" Jasmine asked, but Ernie looked away from her. He wouldn't meet her eyes.
This hurt Jasmine, she couldn't understand why he still wasn't talking to her.
"Katie Bell was cursed" Ernie replied, all four of the girls sitting up in shock.
"by who?" Megan asked, sharing a worried look with the girls.
"Nobody knows. Apparently she picked up a package from the three broomsticks and on her way back to the castle it possessed her" Ernie replied, the girls were shocked. But Jasmine had a feeling she knew who had done it, she just didn't want to admit it to herself.
As Ernie began to walk back towards Justin, Jasmine stood up and followed after him. "Ernie!" Jasmine called. He stopped walking and paused for a moment before turning around to look at her.
"What?" He spat at her, Jasmine had a visible look of hurt on her face at his response.
"Please. Why aren't you talking to me?" Jasmine asked, walking closer to him to avoid the watchful eyes of the rest of the common room, but their friends were watching
"Justin, and you?"
"Why don't you ask your fiancé?" Ernie sneered and Jasmine was shocked, "has he said something to you?" Jasmine asked, hoping that Draco hadn't told her friends to stay away.
