•THIRTY THREE•
JASMINE HAD STAYED WITH DRACO, for as long as possible. Not wanting to let go of the boy in front of her. He had pulled her into the bed with him, Jasmine making sure he wasn't harmed in the process. Although he had told her that Snape had healed him well and it didn't even hurt him anymore.
They slept together on the small hospital bed, neither of them willing to remove their hands from one another at all, it was clear that they were both terrified of what was going to happen that coming night.
"I love you" Jasmine told the boy honestly, looking up at him from her place of lying on his chest.
"I love you, too. More than you know" Draco told her, Jasmines cheeks flushing pink.
"You'll come to my house when what needs to be done is done. I'll send an owl and you and Theo can get far enough away from the castle to apparate to me. Your luggage and Loki will already be at mine by the time you get there" Draco told her and Jasmine nodded.
"Will it be tonight?" Jasmine asked and Draco nodded. "Probably not until the early hours of the morning though" He told her and she bit her lip, trying to hold back tears.
"You'd better go. Theo is waiting for you outside your common room. Please don't leave his side." He told her and she nodded once again. She leant up and pressed her lips to his, savouring the way his lips felt against hers.
Draco had thought about how he was going to keep Jasmine safe when the time came, and decided that staying with Theo would be the best option. He knew that if it came down to it she would be able to defend herself but Theo would act on instinct, whereas Jasmine would probably hesitate at the thought of hurting someone. Although Jasmine was much more gifted in defensive spells than Theo.
"Please try and be safe" Jasmine told him as they pulled away from their hug.
"Always." Draco promised her and she stood up, giving him one last kiss before walking out of the infirmary.
She walked straight to the dungeons, the castle corridors quiet as she proceeded forwards. She spotted Theo leaning against the wall outside the Hufflepuff common room and she let out a breath she didn't realise she was holding. A breath of relief at the sight of her brother.
He looked worried as he saw his little sister walking towards him. He knew what was going to happen tonight and he also knew that Hogwarts would never be the same again after.
Jasmine led Theo into her common room, him following closely behind her. Sneaking someone from another house into her common room wasn't something she had done before, but she figured tonight is as good as any to sneak him in.
She performed a counter charm to allow Theo into their dormitory and began packing. Theo sat at the end of her bed, playing with Loki as his sister rushed to pack everything up.
