ONCE EVERYONE HAD FINISHED EATING, Jasmine told Hannah that she needed to go to the Owlry and write to her father, and was going to ask Theo if he wanted anything put in the letter.
Jasmine stood up from her seat, telling her friends she'd meet them in the common room later. All of which agreed and let her go with a smile.
The Hufflepuff wandered over to the Slytherin table, spotting Theo sat next to Draco and Blaise. Crabbe and Goyle sat opposite them.
"I'm gonna go to the Owlry and write to father, do you want anything put in the letter" Jasmine asked her brother as his eyes met hers.
"Um just tell him I'm actually trying hard this year" Theo said, Draco's eyes meeting hers, to which she gave him a small smile, which he only returned with a nod.
"You want me to lie? How disgraceful of you Theodore" Jasmine fake gasped, causing Blaise, Crabbe and Goyle to snigger, she even noticed a small chuckle come from Draco.
"Shut it Jazzy" Theo used her most hated nickname, Jasmine felt it made her sound like a baby, and she got enough of that for being the younger sibling.
Jasmine squinted her eyes at her brother, sticking her tongue out at him, "I'm going up to the owlry now, so I'll walk with you" Draco spoke up, standing out of his seat and getting ready to leave. Blaise and Theo shared a knowing look.
Draco's feelings were obvious to everyone except to the people they mattered most.
"O-okay, did you want to go now?" Jasmine asked, clearly confused that Draco volunteered to walk with her.
Draco only nodded, and they prepared to leave the great hall when someone shouting her name caused them all to turn around.
"Jasmine Aurora Nott, did you really think you could leave without speaking to me first, I haven't seen you at all!" she heard the loud voice of Daphne Greengrass.
Jasmine squealed as she saw the girl running towards her.
"I missed you Daph! how was your summer?" Jasmine asked as the girl engulfed her into a bone crushing hug. "It was alright, glad to be back though" Daphne replied, as they hugged. "and you? happy to be back?" Daphne asked as they pulled away from the hug.
"yes so happy to be back! I've missed everyone so much!" Jasmine squealed. Unbeknown to the girls, the boys were watching on at the situation in confusion. The boys never acted like that when they hadn't seen each other for a while, so why were they.
"Girls are weird" She heard Blaise say, the two girls gave him a look that could kill.
"I have to get to the Owlry, I'll see you tomorrow?" Jasmine asked, moving to stand next to Draco, who looked very bored.
