NINETEEN•

THE PAST FEW MONTHS HAD GONE BY RELATIVELY SMOOTHLY FOR JASMINE, her father had been writing, promising he was safe, which put Jasmine at ease large amounts.

It was now common knowledge at Hogwarts that Draco and Jasmine were engaged. A lot of people were shocked to hear that the Hufflepuff was engaged to the Slytherin prince, but then given their families, it wasn't at all surprising.

Because of this, the pair had been spending more time together, teachers made it their mission to ensure they were paired up in class for projects, she believes in fear of their parents.

They hadn't kissed, although they had almost kissed a few times, Umbridge had interrupted them a few times, using a spell to push the two apart, with their friends interrupting them other times. They never seemed to catch a break.

Although, they still hadn't admitted to one another that they liked each other, they had left that bit unspoken.

She had another run in with Pansy, the girl screeching at Jasmine that she'd stolen her boyfriend, in front of everyone. Jasmine was mortified at the boldness of the girl but assumed it was in her Slytherin nature. Draco had been there and shot her down immediately and told Pansy that they were never an item. Daphne had also spoken up for the Hufflepuff, telling the girl she was completely delusional.

Jasmine was extremely grateful for them both at that point, she was glad that they had been there so she wouldn't have had a confrontation like that by herself, because Pansy's best friend, Millicent Bulstrode could definitely beat Jasmine up, the muggle way.

Due to Draco being on the inquisitorial squad, and Umbridge cracking down on Harry's private defence lessons, it meant that he and her Slytherin friends were quite busy a lot of the time, so the moments she and Draco had together were brief. Even her brother wanted to quit because of how much stuff she was making them do. But he really needed the extra credit.

They were 2 days away from the end of term and Umbridge had found out about Dumbledores army. With the help of Draco and her brother of course. Jasmine tried not to be annoyed with them because they were only doing what they were asked. But they were taught to defend themselves, something that Umbridge wasn't. They thought that Cho had ratted them all out, Jasmine knew that Cho wasn't that type, Umbridge had obviously used Veritaserum to get the truth out of her.

They were doing what was right, and Jasmine couldn't fault Harry Potter and his friends for that, but then she also couldn't fault Draco and her brother for doing what their fathers had asked of them, which was to stay on Umbridge's good side even if what they were doing was morally wrong.

Their fathers had such high expectations from their children that it was absolutely exhausting. Trying to make everyone happy all the time was exhausting.

Dumbledore was missing, on the run from the ministry, meaning Umbridge had replaced Dumbledore as the head of the school, it was awful really. All of Umbridge's rules made it impossible for her to speak with Draco, or her brother in private.

Filch had also removed all of the historic paintings off the walls, Hogwarts wasn't the same with her as headmistress. They were being locked in the castle and trips to hogsmeade were no longer permitted.

O.W.Ls had started and Jasmine believed they were going well. She was sure she was going to have good grades at the end of the year. Even with the horrible atmosphere at Hogwarts at the moment.

Jasmine wasn't even allowed to hug her brother with Umbridge's new rules, it was horrible.

Jasmine's final O.W.L in transfiguration was going well, she and the other students in her year were sat in the great hall, writing their essay when, banging noises kept happening outside the great hall.

Jasmine furrowed her eyebrows and turned around to see where it was coming from. She caught Hannah's eye who looked just as confused as she did.

As Umbridge opened the door, a bright spark formulated in front of her face, which travelled like a firework and transformed into blue, flying above all the students heads before it exploded into other colours whistling just like a firework, above Jasmines head.

There were a few seconds before the Weasley twins came into the hall on top of brooms, causing everyones papers to go flying everywhere. Jasmine smiled at this, someone was finally fighting back against Umbridge. The Weasley twins then caused more fireworks to go off, causing everyone in the hall to smile and gasp in excitement.

Everyone jumped out of their seats, Jasmine running to Theo's side as more sparks went off, some going to Crabbe and Goyle faces, burning the tips of their noses, then one to Draco's, he kind of deserved it after being on the inquisitorial squad.

Jasmine giggled as it did so, Hannah finding her way to Jasmines side, her hand grabbing onto Jasmines.

The Weasley twins then set off another big firework which formed into a massive dragon, which began chasing Umbridge out of the great hall, she began to scream and run outside in fear. Its jaws then snapped down on Umbridge causing her to be covered in soot.

The impact caused all of Umbridge's decrees to smash and begin falling to the ground. All of the students started to cheer in happiness, hopeful that her reign of terror would come to an end.

As it did so, the Weasley twins flew out of the great hall and into the courtyard, all of the students following them, Jasmine was going to hang back and see what her brother was doing when Hannah grabbed her hand and pulled her outside with her.

The twins let off another firework which transformed into the letter W causing everyone to cheer for the Weasleys.

Jasmine tried to look for her brother and Draco, but she couldn't find them, she began to worry, Umbridge was also nowhere to be seen. She was worried.

Harry, Hermione and Ron had also wandered off too. when Jasmine thought it was weird that they had gone missing at an opportunity to humiliate Umbridge.

Jasmine tugged on Hannah's robe, "Have you seen my brother?" She asked, Hannah shook her head no, "I've got a bad feeling, Han" Jasmine shook her head, "lets find him then" Hannah told her and Jasmine nodded.

The two walked through the castle, looking for her brother. They'd gone through the dungeons, the towers and only when they walked past Umbridge's office did they hear anything. It sounded like wretching, as if someone was being sick.

Jasmine opened the door to Umbridge's office, faced with Crabbe, Goyle, Pansy and Millicent vomiting everywhere.

Jasmine scrunched her face up in disgust at the sight in front of her.

"what in merlins name happened?"Jasmine screeched, seeing her brother, Draco and Blaise in the corner, trying to get away from their vomit.

"Potter and his friends gave them puking pastilles, I warned them not to eat them" Theo shouted.

Jasmine pulled her wand out quickly, "Scourgify" she cast the spell and a walk way was made for them to get out of the office.

"that's disgusting" Hannah cried as the three boys walked out of the office.

"thanks for that" Blaise patted Jasmin on the back.

"why is it that all they do is eat?" Jasmine asked as Theo wrapped an arm around her shoulder.

"we've been asking that same question for years" Theo replied, with a laugh.

"where did Harry and his friends go?" Jasmine asked, "I have no idea, something about Sirius Black" Draco shrugged, looking very uninterested.

"why did you come and find us?" Draco asked, concerned at the urgency that she ran into the office with.

"I had a bad feeling" Jasmine spoke honestly, "has it gone away now?" Draco asked, his eyebrows furrowed.

"no, not yet" Jasmine was still very concerned, but at least those that mattered most to her were safe.
