•THIRTY TWO•
JASMINE SAT WITH HER FRIENDS, eating lunch. She hadn't seen Draco yet that day, having separate lessons. She had seen her brother however, whom she had been with for the majority of the day.
She had taken the Malfoy name well, and teachers were used to calling her by the last name now and not Nott. She and Draco had spent many nights in the room of requirement, after Draco had spent many hours trying to fix the cabinet.
Draco told her he liked seeing her after he had been in the room for a lot of the day, made him relax more.
Jasmine was laughing at something Hannah had said when she saw Draco walk into the great hall. He looked stressed, that much was clear to see. Jasmine wished so hard that she could take it all away from him and make things better.
Draco walked between the tables and Jasmine watched as his eyes met Katie Bell's. They had spoken about what he had done, and that he was trying to avoid Death Eaters coming into the Castle.
Jasmine watched as his face went even paler than he was before, Draco abruptly turned back around and walked out of the hall, Harry turned around as he saw Katie look at Draco, seeing the look of guilt on Draco's face.
Jasmine watched as Harry stormed out of the hall and after Draco, clearly wanting to confront the boy.
Jasmine's eyes widened and stood up. "Where are you going?" Hannah asked as she shot up, clearly shocked by her best friends abruptness.
"I need to see Draco" Jasmine told her and rushed out of the hall after Harry without waiting to hear if Hannah had anything else to say.
She walked out of the hall, following in the direction Harry had walked in, assuming he was following Draco. Jasmine knew it couldn't have been good if Harry was following him.
She walked the corridors and was terrified of what could happen. The boys hated one another and Jasmine knew if they weren't careful they might duel, and that wasn't something that Jasmine wanted.
Jasmine stopped as she went to move past the lavatory when she heard a someone shout a spell she hadn't ever heard before, followed by a horrific howl. Jasmine's face went pale in fear of what she was about to walk into.
Jasmine rushed into the lavatory, her feet getting wet as the bathroom flooded with water. She saw the broken mirrors and cisterns and was shocked. But when she saw Draco on the floor, blood seeping through his shirt and into the water surrounding him, her heart dropped.
Harry stood there just watching the boy writhe around in pain.
"what have you done?!" Jasmine screamed as she pushed past him rushing to her lovers side, lifting his head up and placing it on her knees. He was crying in pain where as she was crying in worry.
