Another prompt from school, but it was a poetry/creative writing assignment.

My alarm clock went off this morning. I had a raging headache. I rolled out of bed andonto the floor. My body felt heavy, as if it were made out of lead. After making my way to thebathroom, I brushed my teeth and pulled my hair into a ponytail without even bothering tocomb it. I decided to wear the t-shirt and shorts I slept in. I grabbed my bookbag and left myhouse without breakfast. I headed down to the bus stop and waited to be picked up. After about20 minutes, the bus arrived at my stop. The driver opened the doors and smiled. "Goodmorning," he said. But this man was not my bus driver.

But for somereason, today just feels off. Maybe I'm just tired. After all, I had that totally creepy dream aboutmy bus driver and it kept me up all night. Today, I think I'll wear a t-shirt and shorts. Once I wasdressed, I grabbed my bookbag and walked to my bus stop.

My alarm clock went off this morning and I awoke with a start. I jumped out of bed andran to my alarm clock, repeatedly telling it to shut up as I fumbled with the buttons in the dark. Confused, I ran around the housechecking all the lights. None of them came on. "Shit," I cursed. I spent the rest of the morningrushing around in the dark and knocking things over. I hurried and grabbed my bookbag andstarted to leave the house. As I was on my way to the bus stop, I thought I heard somethingbehind me, so I turned around. There was a person, a tall man wearing all black. He wascarrying a knife
