Two weeks had already passed since the babies were born and the castle was a whole new world now. The guards were assigned new positions every other week to keep their eyes fresh and open. Thus far there were no new threats or concerns but we weren't leaving anything to chance.
Simoes had rested for over a week alone only waking to feed the babes when they needed it, it was an abit heartbreaking to see three wanting to nurse from her when she was only able to feed two at a time. One was always far more hungry than the others.
Simoes alternated the feeding so that each one got there full share, or waiting a turn. River had brought in some goats milk to help calm the babes while waiting for mother to feed them, each seemed to settle more as River assisted.
Thankfully River was around to help, and Ellen Simoes's personal guard had finally been able to reach us and be here now to protect her while we cared for the lands and concerns of now what was two kingdoms.
Simoes had wanted to give birth back home but as things would have it that didn't happen, so in a few weeks time, we had made the plans to return home for a bit allowing the children a warmer world to grow and play in, using Victor's kingdom for fun winter moments.
None of us truly rested.
Nick and Drogo looked over every map and books for any more information on new births of hybrids and the possibility that Simoes's mother was still alive.
We hadn't told her what we concluded yet, still wanting to prove our theory on the subject and request her father again.
our love had bigger things to deal with then this hiccup in her life now, and if her mother was alive we wanted to find her first and bring her back safely without harm to Simoes or any of our babies.
Sebastian, Victor, and I handled the plan for the move and the route to take. We didn't want to use the portal for the fear of Simoes or the babies being taken with magic none of us possessed. River would be traveling with us to ensure such things but our guard was on high and until we crossed the wall we knew there were possible issues that may lay ahead.
all in all the family that had grown in what seems overnight was well, happier than before and a new leaf had unfolded in our stories.
What we thought about the third and final son was not what we were becoming to take note of.
His eyes still shined like yellow stones, his skin a tanned tone, warm skin, and dark hair. Almost concerned Simoes has a sixth lover we all growled at the very Idea but knew that wasn't possible. After all, when would she have had time to be with another, We kept her very busy even once she was pregnant.
Our son had to be a wolf bloodline but with some of the vampire's blood but thus far Bear hadn't shown any signs of vampire treats, he never wanted blood to drink only the warm milk his mother had or the goat's milk river brought in.
Kat as we liked to call her would feed and nip at her mother once her warmblood was sustained enough asking for a hint of blood which one of us would feed her, using our own or the animals we feed on.
Sven, he was all wolf too but didn't reject the blood either only wanting it only from me making it more clear that he possessed my bloodline and strengthening it by drinking from it.
Bear was truly the mystery still. River had been doing her work on all the kids making sure her reading was clear before revealing their father's bloodline to us. And today was the day she would divulge them and clarify our uncertainties.
As we gathered in the great hall's library Simoes walked in slowly Drogo holding her up as she came in. Her body was healing but at a slower rate then we would have liked. The babies kept her busy so she could just rest and wake well again.
