CH 89

The lords and lady had returned and the castle seemed to just return to its normal ease. The babes no longer whaled out in cries but slept soundly.

The guest that had been staying here since there arrival settled with more ease knowing there kinsmen and leaders were back safely.

As the kitchen crew cleaned up the dinner that was requested by Sebastian and Simoes for them and the pack. We made sure there were plenty of red glasses filled and set alone the center of the table in the grand dining.

Their new guest seems to be starved and in need of a bath. I sighed looking her over before escorting her to her room as directed by Drogo.

Victor, Nick, and Peter all wondered in a little after the guest was carried off as requested. They did not know it yet but their past had just shown up.

Simoes had taken off towards the baby's room the moment she wolfed down her meal.

She had been far beyond hungry to eat at such a pace. I narrowed my vision as I watched her gulp it down in only a few bites

I settled near her taking just as eager bits of my own food and drink, I knew I had to hurry as I was to be at her side at all times.

"Ellen, "She linked me looking up only slightly as she chews her food.

"yes, my lady", I said aloud I wasn't yet able to link her back not being part of her pack or the vampire bond.

"When you are done please go and watch over my mother", she said

my eyes widen to her words, did she just say what I think she said. "My lady" is all I could say answering back.

"she doesn't know who I am yet, nor does the rest of the men yet know she's here yet, I need her watch and protected. Can you do this for me like it was me, as your life depended on it for now "she linked keep our conversation between us.

I nodded not giving anymore answer aloud I hurried up and swallowed what I could, drinking my water and juice then stood up taking the roll with me as I head out and down the halls to do exactly as she requested of me.

her footsteps followed behind me then turned towards the babe's room.

The men passing me heading right into the dinning just missing Simoes as she turned the corner.

"my lords" I nodded in passing as kept ongoing.

"Ellen", Peter said watching me I could feel his eyes on me, but I didn't turn to see my mission now was to watch over the mother of my lady.

"Sebastian, Where is Drogo and Simoes and why was Ellen so in a hurry", Nicolea asked as he entered the dining room all three of them walking in and taking their seats.

Peter nodding at me as Victor tilted his head up at me. each of them taking their blood wine in hand and downing the first glass in one go.

"They had matters to attend to seeing as Drogo found her I thought it best to let them handle it alone" I answered.

"is that right, well I think we all need to speak with her soon and give her a piece of our minds" Victor chuckled eyeing all of us.

"yes, well Drogo was pretty livid when we met up in the fields heading back" I answered

"Oh, livid at Simoes this ought to be intriguing" Peter stood saying as he heads out.

"Which direction did she go, Seb" his face turning back looking at me over his shoulder
