It didn't take us long to finally settle back in, a week has already passed, and everyone seemed to be getting back to the normal once again. Except for this time, there were three little babies that demand attention now.

Drogo always seemed to have Kat at his knee, which was the cutest of things to watch. I began to wonder if he would ever come to see me again. I could only smile. The affection he had for her was priceless. the men all found time for the babies one by one each spreading out there tasks and days to fit around helping raise the babes.

each other them loved by there fathers no matter who their bloodline linked back to, the babes loving and growing so much faster than was humanly possible. but considering they arrived that way, it only made sense.

The river had informed me that it would happen that way. They were hybrids after all and the magic that worked within them only helped them mature even faster. in a few week's time, they would be walking, teething if they hadn't already and in five months able to talk like little adults gods willing. As the men took the children with them I was left to rest and care for me a bit more which I still needed time to time, bathing, dressing, and going to the fight practice that Ellen pressed me for.

She never wanted me to be helpless again because next time I may not be so lucky as to find another mate, but worse. She never finished her words but we knew what she meant.

Things may have been well for now, but the threat of war was still in the back loops of life as we knew it, Lorie was gone, the rouges were gone, but Rivers sister wasn't nor my father's true reason he came back and whether or not he is trying to kill me. The guys seem to know something more on these things but have refused to tell me anymore then I need to know "so as not to worry me"  or so they keep telling me.

I am becoming irritated with all the eggshell walking going on. Tonight I plan to get to the bottom of it all one way or another.

Nick's View

by mornings end Peter and I finished our around and detail works in the office near the library. The castle was to be renovated and new chambers added along with more defense and hidden paths that only the family knew of.

Sebastian, Drogo, and Victor had gone out preparing for all the needed items and help we would require for the tasks at hand. Time wasn't really on our side but the weather was, being sunning and wonderful mostly it allowed for anything to be finished as needed.

it had only been a week since our return, Simoes had taken the new room near her older one after converting it to the nursery for now. Her's was more suiting of a mother now than a young woman alone gaining the hearts of five suitors.

I smiled. We all missed being home and having things back the way there were but, it wasn't like that now it was different, better.

The children were growing so much faster then I thought they should, River always there reassuring us that it was normal for their mix of bloodlines, it still didn't ease my worry. turning to the books I so often needed to find answers in I hoped I'd find something about this in the vampire, wolf history. but thus far we seemed to be the first of our kid to have this.

Creating a new book of our family I wrote down all I recalled based on the details these last few months provided. There was still much to be doing but I wasn't going to miss the chance at recording our family lines.

Peter's View

My love slept better since we had been back. I'm glad we all figured out a way to make this happen for us all. The air here and even the sun seems to do so much more to us all. uplifting our spirits even more, but that could also be the memories of what has unfolded behind these walls that invade our thought from time to time making it feel good to be back.
