Ch 100:) Truth Matters.

Luka and I were escorted to our room, the pups already asleep and cared for the maidens leaving the moment we returned.  We kept our linking and any chatter to ourselves until we were away in our room. 

The doors closed behind us as Luka lead us to the showers to wash the day's events off. He still wasn't still at ease with all the Chanelle talk going on, but I assured him that I could tell that she didn't mean to provoke one. It was a simple error in her moment to resolve other things. 

He seemed to still at my words but I could tell he wouldn't let his guard down until the challenge was over and he knew that the both of us were safe, after all, we had just agreed to a treaty to be allies and remove the real threat to us all.  Granted we have yet to sign the actual documents but we were all in agreement. 

It felt good to be on this side of things for once. I loathed being angry and wanting to kill all the time like when I was living with Victor, Granted he never made us do it but the energy was always like that there. Well up until the day she showed up. 

I will say looking at Victor these last few days answered so many more of the questions I had that I didn't ask when were had our moment to ourself to talk. I didn't want to leave a notion that I might still have feelings because I didn't. Luka and our pack, our home up north now were all I wanted.  

The Pup were my whole world. So the only way I would go against this treaty is if something were to happen to my babies and mate while here or anywhere. 

I sighed follow my lover into the baths, this castle was pretty amazing to say the lease, we have been treated kindly there was no fake notion to be noticed anywhere. Something not even River knew I could distinguish. 

The pack here and Simoes and her mates meant what they had said and had been acting accordingly. 

"Baby, what are you thinking about" Luka's voice suddenly broke my thoughts. 

"Nothing really just that so far things feel good and I like it" I answered

"Do they, and do you sense anything wrong here" 

"no why? do you" 

"not at this moment but I do feel like somethings in the air" 

"yeah that I feel but I don't feel it's from our new found friends, do you think it's them"

"No, a wolfs honor is his word, and both Sebastian and I have given ours" 

"do you think Simoes will play dirty, the?" 

"I don't think she will do anything to keep this peace from happening, but she is a solider now and will do what she needs to if it means you or her, but then again she has been surprising me this trip so what she knows to do might not be what she does" he answered like a soldier that has been in battle far more then one should. 

"Well good, I only plan to play dirty if she starts first then" I chuckle. 

" Dirty how?" Luka growls gently taking me in his arms 

"mm, I don't know you know through dirt in her eyes if she kicked me to hard kind of thing, you know girls play," I say smiling at him as he lifts my legs into his arms leading us into the large pool-like baths. 

"hmm, you are a mean one aren't you" he chuckles stealing a kiss

"I am, and you love that about me," I tell him bitting at his low lip. 

Ha! his breath leaving his mouth as I take his lips in mine with a hunger I didn't think I had in me tonight, but it's been two long days since I have had my mate in my arms and since the babes are sleeping I plan to tend to him first.
