I had asked Clara an important question, I whispered it in her ears, for no one else to hear.

I needed to know if she would be mine to have, to use when I needed her. She didn't quite understand what I was saying concidering it implied sexually, but I nodded no that was not the case. I wanted her to be my witch in hand, to do whatever I didn't or couldn't do.

She nodded yes, answering me in a language I didn't understand at first but as I heard her I watch River wave her hand from behind her and as she did it was like I could understand all of it. I was given access to there language. It was sweet soft and smooth, nothing of old stories told of witch hackles and cries in the ugly tongue it was ancient. she swore allegiance to me and me alone, asking for forgiveness in the betrayal of her former lords, but that she was only helping to get me to my rightful place. I understood and I wasn't mad how could I be, he wasn't my enemy but my lover now.

I was amazed as to what I was becoming more open too.

"Good, now please open that portal," I told her

"No you can't" Cyrus spoke

"why? why can't I father" I turned hissing at him I knew was behind this in some way

"she, did it she took them and the home in which she has impressed them will only kill you if you try to reach them from here," he said.

"and why should I even believe  you" I hissed

I waved to Clara letting her take a seat as I dealt with this new treachery.

"Father, I know I can feel you are planning against me, It alright considering I don't see you as my father all the more reason I should kill you after you tell us what she is planning" I grabbed him with my powers.

"Simoes, don't" River spoke

"River, please enlighten me as to why"

"he is needed for something else, if he dies now he won't be able to do whats most needed then" her words ringing true even if they left answers untold.

"Fine, this time you are lucky but next time you won't be."

"Shawn, do me a favor lead him back to the dungeons for now"

"Don't daughter I'm on your side, please believe me"

"oh please you old fool, how stupid do you think I am, you don't think that I can't read you, I know how you look at me with disgust because I have more than one suitor. I saw it when victor asked you, not to mention all my powers" I growled I just wanted an aswer from him.

he had never just said what he meant since we met. now was the time, the time to speak if he wanted to live.

"I don't like you have more than one, yes, but your powers were always going to be apart of you it what was left of your mother, the women I loved dearly"

"what's so wrong with my mates" I wandered now

"you were promised to Vitor alone, at least by me and your mother, I never knew if she knew the rest of the prophecy but I didn't want it to happen I thought you could handle it all without the rest. but I see that it's not so. I wanted to keep you from being there. I wanted you to be free to live, becoming your own woman like your mother and I had talked about. but you still did it"

he sighed lowering his head standing there the room silent everyone surrounding us watching.

"Cyrus, I don't know you as my father, but Im sure you loved my mother im grateful for that but regardless of what you think is right for me, I love all the men in my life. It was my choice never there pressing on me"  I answered him
