The minister questions Pettigrew under the influence of Veritaserum.

Hermione just then told them "Yes sir. He's still in the grounds. Professor Snape and I have seen him myself."

The three of them nodded. "Very well, Miss Granger. Thank you for informing. In case you meet him again, could you please tell him to stay either here with Albus, Minerva or Severus in one of their offices?" asked Amelia. "Yes ma'am." Replied Hermione. The young girl knew the older lady personally as she and Susan Bones were very close friends and always went to each other's homes. The ministry officials bade their goodbyes and took Pettigrew away with them.

Minerva then took Hermione with her back to the Gryffindor, while Albus and Severus went to the place where Sirius, Moony and the Potter twins were lying down. They saw the four lying down, deep in sleep.

Silver and Moony woke up to the two professors' footsteps and growled. Sirius and Harry calmed the two canines down and turned to their guests expectantly. "Yes Sirius and Harry. The Minister has agreed to set you free and declare you innocent. But you'll need to share your side of the incident that occurred all those years ago on Halloween." Said the old Headmaster. "And I think he'll be more than ready to give Miss Potter and Mister Potter's guardianship to you and Remus.

"That'll do. Thank you so much, you both." Said Sirius, as an expression of relief washed over the two humans. "I say you two have the situation under control?" asked Severus, indicating towards the two werewolves behind Harry and Sirius. "Yes sir. We have. Thank you for asking." Said Harry. The two teachers nodded and went back to the castle. The four of them went back to sleep in the same way as before.
