59. A Peaceful Day

Fred and George finally meet the Marauders.

Everyone had thoroughly enjoyed the match. The teens flopped back on their beds, happy, but exhausted. All of them were dreaming about quidditch until it was seven in the morning. They were still exhausted when Remus and Minerva went into the boys and girls rooms respectively to wake them up.

Just then, Amelia Bones walked into the tent with Sirius to find the kids and Remus sipping on a mug of hot chocolate each, while the rest of the adults sipped on their mugs of tea or coffee. Minerva passed a mug of coffee each to the two others who just came in. All of them sat around the table talking about last night's match and the different moves that had been used.

They soon dispersed and Susan had to go with her aunt. She promised to meet them when they had to go shopping for their school supplies and left. The others met up with the Weasleys and Hermione and bade goodbye to the group before apparating away back to Noir Chateau. Neville too flooed back to Longbottom Manor after reaching home. Minerva and Severus stayed back for breakfast, before they too flooed to Minerva's office at Hogwarts.

Once the residents of the Chateau freshened up, Ted and Andromeda gave the twins one last lesson on healing before the holidays ended. They were disappointed that they couldn't practice until they return for Christmas. But Andy cheered them up by giving them a news. "Hey, guess what, I've spoken to Madame Pomfrey and she'll be training you both the practical aspects as well whenever possible." The twins nodded at this and went down with their aunt and uncle to have lunch.

Sirius and Remus revised the subjects that they were teaching them after lunch and gave them the day free after that. Neville and the others who were training, too came by to get their lessons finished and spend time with the twins. Alaya and Ginny helped Ron practice his keeping skills as he wanted to try out for the position this year. Sirius, Ted and Dora joined the girls to help them train Ron.

Today was a very peaceful day for everyone and they enjoyed the time they spent with each other until tomorrow as the book lists were due to arrive.
