33. Buying New Things - 1

PREVIOUSLY IN A NEW BEGINNING

The group finish buying books from Flourish and Blotts. The teachers agreed to help them.

"Hello Mr. Traveller. We're looking for two trunks which has different compartments for clothes and equipment, a separate library compartment and a separate study room." Said Sirius. The owner of the shop nodded at this. "Very well, lord Black. Well, I do have a few suggestions here." He said as he steered towards a set of trunks.

"This one here has three compartments. A compartment to store clothes, a compartment to store your equipment like the scales, cauldron, etc., and a separate study compartment which is combined with a library. There is an option of adding two more full size shelves in case there isn't any more space." He said. "In the clothes compartment, there are four racks which can hold upto 15 hangers each, other than three drawers and three shelves. We have two of these trunks, just as you asked. If you want two trunks from another style, we'll have to make it. This one is the only style other than one more that we have, which has two trunks, right now."

Remus and Sirius nodded at this. "Could you show us more options?" asked Harry. "Sure, Mr. Potter. This one here has four compartments. This has the same features as the previous one. Except that the fourth one has a separate library. The bookshelves in the study compartment are smaller in comparison to the other trunk as there is a separate library. And the extra feature is that the study is connected to the study from inside itself. This is the one other style that has two trunks." He said.

Harry looked at Alaya and asked her "What do you think?" Alaya thought for a moment and told her brother "I think I'll go with the second one. I prefer having a separate library and a separate study. And I also love that it's connected internally to the library. And there's more than enough storage space like I wanted." He smiled at her and turned to Sirius, who told "It's your choice because you're the one to use it." Harry nodded and turned to the store owner. "Mr. Traveller, we'd like to take the second option. How much does it cost?" he asked. "Very well. One trunk costs 10 galleons. Since you're buying two, it'll cost 20 galleons."

Before paying for the trunks, they added a few more features, like protections that allows only those who are keyed into the trunk's wards amongst others. They also got new book bags for themselves.

After their purchase, they went on to find their cousins.
