60. Diagon Alley - 1

PREVIOUSLY IN A NEW BEGINNING

Everyone were just lazing around most of the time.

The next morning, the fourth year Book Lists arrived for the twins, Ron, Neville, Susan and Hermione, while the third year book lists arrived for Ginny and Luna. Mad Eye and Remus had discussed about how the students were coping after not having competent teachers. So, the ex – auror decided to follow Remus' suggestion of books and used the same ones as he did the previous year. Just like how Remus had suggested, Binns was sacked and replaced by Aaron Kyle, a teacher from Scotland.

Professor Snape agreed to have an assistant for his classes. So, he was accompanied by none other than the now ex – auror Emmeline Vance. She applied for the post as she wanted a break from being on field. Mad Eye was relieved when Albus told him that he would be replaced by Hestia Jones. But was soon back to being his grumpy old self when he was told that he was the one to take the duelling classes.

The ex – auror listed the same book that the twins and their friends used for all the years as it was their first time. Remus had suggested when was contacted again. Hestia too met her old classmate with her old mentor and discussed the DADA books and the previous teachers. Hestia told that the books were really good and would continue to use the same suggestions.

As Emmeline, Hestia, Sirius, Remus and Severus were now friends, they decided to go with the kids to Diagon Alley together. When Harry and Alaya were told about the two ladies joining them, they agreed immediately as they were excited to meet new people who were friends with their parents.

Time Skip to Diagon Alley Visit,

Harry and Alaya were talking to Dora, Sirius, Remus and Severus while waiting in the Leaky Cauldron for the two ladies. Soon, Harry noticed Remus, Sirius and Severus get up and greet two ladies who just came out of the fireplace and led them towards himself and his sister. "Hello Alaya and Harry. I'm Emmeline Vance and this is my friend Hestia Jones. The last time both of us saw you two was before Lily and James went into hiding." Said Emmeline.
