22. Meeting the Family - 1

PREVIOUSLY IN A NEW BEGINNING

Harry and Alaya plan to visit the Potter Family Vault.

Harry and Alaya looked at each other and nodded simultaneously. "Yes. We'd like to visit the vault. We want to see what all are in there." Said Alaya. "Very well. Let's go." Said Sharptooth and took them to the Potter Family Vault, which was Vault No. 649. "Mr. Potter, as the Head of the Most Ancient and Noble House of Potter, please place your hand on this hand imprint. It will open to anyone having Potter Blood." Harry did as he was told to do.

He felt a tingling sensation, heard the locks of the vault click open and the door opened. "Please do go and check the vault out. Your father had already keyed Lord Black's and Lord Lupin's signatures so that they can enter your vault. I'll be waiting right here." Said Sharptooth. Harry nodded and went inside the brightly lit vault to take a look. Alaya, Remus and Sirius followed him inside.

There were two doors on one side of the vault and the other side was had Portraits. Sirius and Remus noticed the portrait of two very familiar people. James and Lily. They went over to them. Harry and Alaya too went over with them and recognised their parents instantly. "James, Lily." Whispered Sirius. The couple got their attention onto Sirius and Remus. "Hey Padfoot, Moony. Finally getting to meet you two again after so many years." Said James, as Lily nodded. The two living marauders' eyes were glistening. "Before you say anything Prongs and Tiger Lily, meet your kids." Said Remus as he and Sirius parted ways and revealed Harry and Alaya. Even they're eyes were glistening.

Lily crouched and beckoned them to come closer. "Hey you two. Dad and I are so sorry that we can't be a part of your life anymore." She said as tears flowed freely. "It's okay, mum. It's not your mistake. It's Pettigrew's, as he was the one to go and rat out our location to Voldemort." Said Alaya. "You're right, Alaya." Said James from behind Lily. "Mum, Dad, we want to tell you about whatever happened in our lives till now. Is it fine if we took your portrait to the Chateau? Sirius?" asked Harry as he looked back and forth between his parents' portrait and his godfather.
