16. The Inheritance Tests - 1

James and Lily Potter's Will is read.

Remus, Sirius, Harry and Alaya were in tears after they heard the contents of the Will. They quickly dried their tears and Alaya asked "What next, Sharptooth?"

Sharptooth spoke "It's yours and your brother's inheritance tests, Miss Potter. Mr. Potter, since you're the heir to the House of Potter, I'll start with you first. Albus Dumbledore has been handling all of your family finances and accounts. He has sent back all the statements that he had been receiving from us all these years so that we'll give it to you. And he was the regent and proxy for your Wizengamot seats till now. There has been no transfers or withdrawals, except for whenever you yourself or your sister have removed money from your personal trust vaults. Dumbledore knew that you will come to claim your seats. So, he has given up the positions and you will have to take over as soon as possible." "Thank you for informing, Sharptooth." said Harry.

The goblin nodded and turned to Sirius. "Lord Black, we need to present the Heir ring of the House of Black to young Mister Potter. Do you want to do it today itself or on some other day?" he asked.

"I would like to do it today itself." Said Sirius. "Very Well." Sharptooth went on to inform Nagnok about this and the latter brought it from the Black Family Vault, along with the Black Family's and Potter Family's ceremonial bowls and knifes.

"We'll need to do an inheritance test for the both of you before we can give you the rings. And Miss Potter, as far as I can remember, your father had made you an heiress to families that you are related through your mother's side." Said Sharptooth as he removed two pieces of parchment from one of the drawers. "It requires four drops of your blood on this parchment."

Harry nodded as he took the Potter family's ceremonial knife and cut his palm, wincing slightly. He angled his hand slightly and let four drops of blood drip onto the parchment. Alaya did the same thing on to the other parchment once Sharptooth cleaned her family's ceremonial knife. Once this was done, Sirius and Remus healed the cuts on their hands as the blood on the parchment started merging into lettering.
