Malfoy is arrested and is given a trial, then and there.

Everyone were shocked. Fudge signalled to Dumbledore, who murmured the incantations to unseal the doors. The 20 aurors who were waiting outside came in and assisted the ones inside to catch hold of the death eaters sitting in the balcony. They took all of them except for Malfoy to the holding cells in the Ministry.

After the doors were resealed, they noticed that the Veritaserum had worn off. "Administer it again." Cornelius ordered. Once done and waited, Amelia resumed her questioning.

"What do you mean by Crouch Jr. being broken out of prison?"

"His father, Barty Crouch Sr. got him out by using Polyjuice Potion. He exchanged places with his mother by drinking the Polyjuice and assuming each other's physical appearances. His mother was the one who was buried on the island when it was assumed Crouch Jr. died."

"How do you know all of this?"

"I met him a couple of weeks ago. He was the one who told me."

"Where did you meet him?"

"In the Graveyard in Little Hangleton."

"What did you two talk about?"

"We were speaking about the Dark Lord's Horcruxes. That's how he has not been killed by Potter all those years ago."

Dumbledore's suspicions were confirmed by this. He knew that it had to do something with those foul, dark objects. And this interrogation also confirmed his suspicions about Harry's scar. He signalled to Sirius and Remus that they needed to meet him after the session. The two older men nodded and returned their attention back to trial.

"Do you know how many did he make?"

"No."

Amelia nodded and shared a look with Fudge, who nodded. "Administer the antidote and place him in a holding cell." She ordered.
