37. The Classes

PREVIOUSLY IN A NEW BEGINNING

Sirius calls for a family meeting.

Alaya and Harry started training with their professors right the next day after the Black Family Meeting. The teachers told them that they could call a few of their friends if they wanted to. So they wrote to them telling them about this and got their replies within two days. Hermione didn't want to come as she wanted to spend her holidays with her parents. She assured them that she'll be meeting them for the World Cup Finals. Ron and Neville told that they'll be more than happy to join them. Ron added that his sister Ginny and her friend Luna Lovegood will be joining them too. Alaya was friends with Susan Bones and Hannah Abbot and had written to them as well. Even they agreed to join the study till the end of the holidays.

Minerva thankfully talked Neville's grandmother into buying him a new wand as it would help him get better in his studies. And this actually paid off. Remus, Minerva and Filius saw improvement from his side as they revised their first to third year spells and went on to practice the fourth- and fifth-year spells and the extra ones that Sirius taught them.

With these classes going on, one could observe that this group was growing very close to each other. About three weeks after the classes started, the group had already finished revising and learning whatever was there in their school books from first to fifth year, and also the extra books that Harry and Alaya had got.

Sirius had gone to Diagon Alley and bought another two sets of those extra books and given them to Ron and Ginny. They tried denying them, but were cut off by the twins with them saying that it was an early Christmas present for Ron and Ginny's late birthday present. Harry even funded for Ginny's new wand, saying that he wanted to for her birthday, when Mr. and Mrs. Weasley tried to deny the money.

One day, the teachers called Sirius and Remus aside after their classes for the day was done. "I must say that the group has shown a tremendous spike in the way they learn. They have improved a lot." Said Minerva as she looked at the group of students sitting in the back porch and drinking butterbeer as they laughed over something. "Yes, you're right, Minerva. I agree." Added Snape.

The others were surprised that it was coming from him, but were good in not showing it out. "Why don't all of you stay back for dinner? The kids are going to stay here for the rest of the holidays, only going back when Harry, Alaya, Remus and I get ready for the Wizengamot session. Harry he's Lord Potter and Lord Peverell and Alaya because she's Lady Boldon and Lady Romanov." Said Sirius. The Hogwarts Professors were shocked when they heard about Alaya's titles.

"Lily was actually a pure blood witch, who was adopted by a muggle family when she was just a couple of months old. We got to know when we did an honorary inheritance test after James and Lily got married." Said Sirius. The others nodded at this and agreed to the dinner offer. "Yes Sirius. We'll stay back for dinner. And thank you for telling us about Lily." Said McGonagall and went outside with Sirius and Remus to spend some time with their students and make them comfortable to be around them when not in school after they left their bags in the sitting room.
