28. The Second Full Moon - 3

PREVIOUSLY IN A NEW BEGINNING

Remus and Alaya transform into Moony and Moonsilver respectively and start playing with Harry and Sirius.

Sirius understood what Moony wanted. He too started giving the bigger wolf a belly rub and started playing with his ears. This got the same reaction out of Moony. Sirius and Harry played like this for a while before Silver got up and nudged Moony up. When the older wolf was up and standing, she nipped his ear as she pushed him down on the floor, indicating that she wanted to play.

Moony gave in to his cub's request and acted submissive for her and this play went on until both of them went on to the huge piece of raw steak (Courtesy, Hagrid) that were placed a little away from the rug. Both went on to share the meat and it was more than enough for the both of them. Moony coaxed his cub to eat the extra bit of meat left, which she ate thankfully. The two canines then went to Harry and Sirius and plopped in front of them. Harry pulled out the book called 'Narnia – Lion, Witch and Wardrobe' out, laid down and snuggled into Moony. Silver laid herself between Moony and Harry, and placed her muzzle on the older wolf's chest. Sirius turned into Padfoot and placed himself on Harry's other side and placed his muzzle on his stomach.

Moony allowed Scrabbles and Silver to snuggle into him before he put one of his arms around the three members of his pack. Harry read the whole book to see his sister already asleep. Moony allowed Harry to put the book away before putting his arm around him again as he snuggled in after pulling individual blankets onto Silver and himself.

NEXT MORNING,

Harry as usual, woke up before Remus and Sirius and got his sister's clothes and woke her up, so as to give her some privacy from the other two men as she got dressed into her clothes. He went on to cover Remus, who transformed back just as Alaya came out from the corner after she wore her clothes. They waved to their parents' and grandparents' portraits, who signalled to come to the family room.

Upon reaching the family room, they discussed about how the night was and wished they could join them physically. But the kids cheered them up by assuring them that they can do other things together, if not this one. They then went to their respective rooms to get ready for the day.
