PREVIOUSLY IN A NEW BEGINNING

Sirius, Remus and the Potter twins reach the Hogwarts Infirmary safely.

"What is it, Harry?" asked Remus.

"The Minister has decided to hand mine and Alaya's guardianship to you and Uncle Siri after his trial. We won't have to go back to the Dursleys anymore." Said Harry. Remus had one more shock that morning. He looked at Sirius, who nodded with a smile. But before he could say anything, Dumbledore spoke "Harry is right, Remus. The Minister has agreed to give the guardianship to you and Sirius."

The four of them looked at the old Headmaster, who was standing close to their beds with a smiling McGonagall behind him. "He already sent the adoption papers to me and all that is required is their signature. And I personally will be going to get it. So you don't need to worry." Remus, Harry and Alaya grinned at this and Sirius whooped. This made the older people in the room chuckle and the twins giggled.

"Pads, as much as I am happy for your freedom, I have to tell you that you horribly stink. You'll have to take a bath." Said Remus. "Yes Uncle Paddy. Harry might not be able to smell it. But I as a werewolf can easily tell that you stink." Said Alaya, agreeing to Remus' statement. Sirius blushed at this. McGonagall then said "Sirius, you might want to come with me. You can use the Prefect's bathroom to take a bath." Sirius perked up at this idea and went with the cat animagus.

"Even I'll go and have a bath. I'll ask Hermione to get you a set of fresh clothes and a fresh towel from your trunk as usual." Harry said to Alaya, to which she nodded. "Uncle Moony, do you need anything from your quarters?" he asked. "No Harry. I'll take a shower after I get back. And one more thing. Would you two mind if you move into my quarters and stay there for the rest of the term? There's only a couple of days for the term to end." He said. "That would be great, Uncle Moony." Said Alaya, as Harry nodded his agreement and left for the common room.

Once he entered the common room, he found himself in an armful of Hermione. "Harry!" she shrieked into her best friend's ear. "Let the man breathe, Hermione. He knows his name." said Ron from behind her. He too gave him a hug. "You've got to tell us everything, Harry." Said Hermione.

Harry complied and told them everything from what happened after they left till what happened in the hospital wing before he left to return here. "That's really nice, mate. You get to move away from the Dursleys." Said Ron. "Yep! Now, we get to be a proper family." Said Harry with a smile on his face. "Hermione, would you mind getting a set of fresh clothes and a fresh towel for Alaya while I go and get a bath?" he asked. "Sure Harry. I will get it." Said Hermione and went to her room as both the girls were sharing a dorm.
