26. The Second Full Moon - 1

PREVIOUSLY IN A NEW BEGINNING

Alaya has a nightmare.

It was two days after Alaya' nightmare. Remus and Sirius tested the twins on their studies to see where they were. This idea had come up when Harry told them that he was having nightmares related to Voldemort and a man named Barty Crouch Jr. The Marauders also wanted to know their power after they got adopted. They assessed them and noticed that they were really very strong. So, over the course of the next three weeks, they trained really hard and mastered whatever spells they had learnt over the course of three years of their studies at Hogwarts.

TIME SKIP TO TWO DAYS BEFORE FULL MOON

Harry was working really hard on his spells and other lessons. But with full moon just two days away, it couldn't be the same with Alaya as she couldn't perform to her usual potential.

During the time the family of four were sitting with the older Potters after Alaya's nightmare, they had told how Alaya was afflicted with Lycanthropy, the night they died. James was distraught that he couldn't help his daughter out during full moons. But Harry, Remus and Sirius explained what happened the night they confronted Peter again in the Shrieking Shack. Harry also mentioned that Alaya had been around him in her wolf form ever since she was bitten. So everyone was relieved that there was help for both the lycanthropes.

Snape had happily agreed to brew the Wolfsbane Potion for Remus and Alaya every month for his mistake on how he treated the twins for the past three years. He came over every morning for the past three days to give their daily doses of the potion. Alaya was really happy to have a grip over her wolf form and not lash out on anyone who tried to hurt her brother as she was really protective of him. Harry wanted to spend time with his sister's wolf form as usual. He knew that Moonsilver loved to listen to him read stories out for her. Even Alaya knew of this fact. So both went to the Sun Room, as Sirius and Remus were lounging out there.

"Uncle Remus, Uncle Sirius, we want to ask you something." Said Harry, as he caught his guardians' attention. They looked up from their respective reading materials to look at the twins sporting apprehensive looks. "What is it, Cub/Pup?" they asked together. "Is it fine if Harry joined me during my transformation? Please! I've never gone through a single transformation without him ever since I was bitten." said Alaya from behind Harry. "I always love the way he reads to me. I've observed this ever since Professor Snape started brewing the Wolfsbane Potion for me in our First Year."

Remus and Sirius contemplated over this. "How did you manage to get Harry with you to the Shrieking Shack with you without anyone spotting?" asked Sirius. "I had permission from Professor Dumbledore. He told me that I could accompany her in the shack. And I took Professor McGonagall's help in ordering more story books for me to read to her. She helped me by getting a few books from the muggle world as well when I asked her if she could. And due to both of our increasing collection of books, she helped us get a new trunk with a small library compartment each before our second year started." Explained Harry.

Sirius and Remus looked at each other before looking at the twins. "Of Course, Pups. You can." Said Sirius with a smile on his face. This made the twins grin from ear to ear and both went one person each and hugged them.
