"Okay, we need to get out of this house," Emily says, throwing a pillow at me.

I shake my head no, wrapping myself with the blanket.

"Don't make me pick you up," Emily threatens but I don't budge.

"Fine," she says and that's when I feel my body being lifted from the bed.

"Em, nooo!" I whine as she walks me into my bathroom, setting me on the counter which has clothes already set on.

"I just missed my bed, five more minutes," I groan.

"You've been in bed for the last four days. We are getting out of this house," she says sternly.

"Now shower because you stink," she jokes as I shove her out the bathroom.

"Asshole," I mumble under my breath.

"I heard that!"

I ignore her comment and take a shower, slipping on some shorts from my Auntie's new clothing line and a hoodie. I fix my hair, which is long enough to fit in a small pony tail and I slip on some socks and shoes.

"Where are we going?" I question Emily as she grabs her keys, turning towards me.

"On an adventure," she says excitedly.

"Yay," I say sarcastically at her.

"Come on, quit being such a baby," she tells me, pulling on my hand and leading me out the house.
I lock up and meet Emily in the car.

I lean against the seat as Emily sings off tune to the radio which causes me to just stare and smile at her.

"Why are you staring?"

"Because you're very intriguing," I tell her, continuing to stare.

"Stop," she says, pushing my face but I fight against her and still find my eyes on her.

"Shouldn't of brought me out of the house," I tell her, finally looking towards the road.

We drive for a while that's when we pull up the an aquarium.

I furrow my eyebrows, confused as I turn towards her.

"Come on, the fishies await!" she says excitedly.

We pay for admission and we walk around the aquarium, taking time to see all the fishes.

As Emily looks at a certain fish, I wander off, wanting to find my favorite.

I walk into a more secluded room and find the stingrays, I sit on the small bench, crossing my legs as I stare at them.

"Aryn! I've been loo-"

"Shush! You'll scare them," I tell her, going back to stingrays.

"Sorry," she whispers, sitting next to me.

We sit in silence as I watch them swim around.

"Did you know, there's fossils dated back to the Jurassic ages of them and there's different types of rays?" I say excitedly as she forms a smile.

"Really?"

"Yes, there are electric rays, round rays, manta rays, guitarfish and sawfish," I whisper, not taking my eyes off the fish.

"Oh! And they are unique because their skeleton is made of flexible cartilage," I tell her, poking her nose, "like the stuff that's in there."

She laughs as I think of another fact, "And- and the pointy things on their backs and tails, that has venom in they to protect them."
