"Where the hell have you been!" I hear when I walk in to the hotel room, it's midnight and I wasn't expecting to run into a very pissed off Julie.

"Not now," I groan. Unpleased with how mad she look at the moment but not really caring.

"No- No! You do not get to do that, I had to cover for you. Now tell me where have you been. You have been MIA this whole camp and I don't like lying to your mom." She snaps causing me to take a step back. I really need a fix and this headache is killing me. She's not helping my case either at the moment.

"None of your business," the attitude is clear in my voice and I can tell that it did not help my case what so ever.

"Really? Okay Aryn. Next time I won't lie for you then." I knew she was hurt by the way she said that but I didn't care at the moment. I quickly grabbed my things for a shower and locked myself in the bathroom.

Instantly, I grab two pills, crush it and snort the small lines I made. I stumble a bit, knocking a few things on the floor.

F-ck.

"Are you okay?" Julie yells from the other side of the door.

"I'm okay, just knocked down something." I yell back before getting in the shower. The cold water numbs my body while I just stand there, trying to gather myself up. I sniff a little and instantly I know my nose is bleeding, I reach up and watch the blood on my finger get blended in with the water.

Pinching my nose, I stand there for a little while longer and then finally get out of the shower.

I slip on a muscle shirt and basketball shorts before putting my glasses on and allowing my hair to just do its own thing. I walk to my bag and ignore Julie staring at me. I put my stuff up and glance at the suit I brought for this weekend, feeling the fabric in my hands. I take a deep breath before looking behind me.

"You're staring." Julie tells me when I meet her blue eyes. I shake my head while I continue to stare at her.

"You were staring first," I snap back as she rolls her eyes.

"Mhm- now you're staring and I'm trying to sleep." I can still tell she's hurt about our argument.

So I continue to stare at my best friend, who doesn't know is my best friend but is my best friend.

"Aryn. Stop staring!"

"Sorry sometimes I just have to stare at my future to remind myself what I'm working for." I told her with a cheeky smile before winking at her, she gave me a "are you f-cking kidding me look".

"Oh shut up."

"You're not mad at me anymore right?" I question with a puppy dog face as she glares at me. I walk over and sit on the edge of her bed, playing the little tune in my head with my fingers. Julie reaches over and grabbing my hand causing me to look at her.
