CHAPTER 17 - Performance Night

Maze's POV

After ilang weeks, mas naging close ako kina Kian. We usually hang out together.

But right now, I'm feeling excited!

Tonight, we are going to perform! Yey! Thanks to Kian, I can rap our song well.

We're here na sa music room kasi nag-aayos kami. All Jaguarriors are very busy kasi lahat ay naghahanda para sa event tonight. Oh right, Jaguarriors ang tawag sa mga students ng MKU.

By the way, Jiyo and Lui are in the PhotoKenzie Club. Yan and Lux are in the MKU Yellow Jaguars Swimming Club. Lake and Ran are in the McKenzie University Basketball Varsity Club, while Leil is part of the McKenzie Jaguars Soccer Varsity Club.

As usual, I am styling myself today based on my unique and extraordinary fashion style. Si Kian naman, yung usual getup niya. The rest of our band naman ay parehong naka all black.

We're now heading to the school's theater. The program is about to start.

So naka-arrange yung upuan by club. Ang club namin yung pinaka-last na magpeperform.

Let's not waste our time describing the performances of those clubs. Basta believe me, lahat ng performance ay exquisitly executed. Mga talented pala ang lahat ng students dito. Creative din.

So it's almost our turn. Pumunta na kami sa backstage.

Okay! It's our time to shine!

Pagdating namin sa stage, nagtilian ang mga tao. They cheered for us. Perks of being famous. Hehe. Sorry, just amazed by their nakakabinging cheers.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen!" Skie. Nagtilian ang mga tao.

"Are you having a good time?" Thrie

"Wanna hear us sing?" Koko. Nagtilian ulit ang mga tao.

"Thank you very much!" Kian. "I know that you'll love to hear me sing. Hindi tulad ng isa dito" nag 'Ooooooohhhh' naman yung mga people dito.

"Oh please. I am so much better than you. Lalo na sa puso ng mga babae. Baka ikaw yung umiyak. Kaya tumigil ka na" me. Nag 'Ooooooohhhh' ulit yung mga people. Kian shook his head.

"I don't think so. Mas karapat dapat ako sa mga babae. Hindi tulad sa'yo, sa akin ay wala silang masasabi. Diba guys?" Kian. Nagtilian ulit ang mga tao.

"Really? Nagkakamali ka. Papaiyakin mo lang sila. I am better than you! But me? Fans, I'll always love you" me. And of course, nagtilian ang mga tao. That's the effect of Maze.

"Who do you choose?" Nath. Everyone shouted their bet.

"Sinong mas matimbang sa inyo?" Koko

"Shout! Is it Maze or Kian?!" Thrie

"We can't hear you!" Skie. Mas lumakas yung cheers ng mga tao.

"Oh sige, sino dito ang boto kay Kian?!" Thrie. People shouted. "Kay Maze?!" people also shouted.

"Pa'no yan? Mukhang pareho lang yata" Nath

"Sandali, sandli! May nakikita pa akong hindi pa nakakapili eh" Koko. "Gusto niyo tulungan namin kayo?" everyone answered 'yes'.

"Guys, guys" Skie. "What if mag-showdown nalang silang dalawa? Dapat patunayan nila kung sino ang mas karapat-dapat. Gusto niyo ba yun?" nagtilian yung mga people.

"Oh sige!" Nath "Sino kaya sa inyong dalawa ang dapat piliin?"

Kian and I looked at each other.
