CHAPTER 27 - Island

Maze's POV

It's been a few weeks na since the time Kian and I got sick.

And speaking of Kian, I'm doing everything to stay away from him. I'm trying my best to avoid him everywhere. Hindi ako tumatambay sa mga usual tambayan spots ko. I also bring my lunch in order for me to lessen roaming around the campus. Umuuwi na din ako sa bahay kaagad, and I am taking the longer route para hindi niya ako maabutan. And as much as possible, hindi ako pumunta sa mga public places.

But damn!

Sobrang mahirap pala.

I know that he's really wondering why I'm trying to get away from him, but I can't just simply tell him that I need to distance myself. I'm not a stupid person not to know that. If I tell him, parang sinabi ko na rin yun na I have a little tiny bit of crush on him. And gosh! It's fake news!

It's also making me crazy! Damn, he keeps on following me almost everywhere! He's like a hungry cat and I am the silly scaredy mouse that he keeps on hunting. Basically, halos walang gamit ang pag-iiwas ko kasi alam pa rin niya ang whereabouts ko. My last resort is to make excuses to escape him. And I'm not good at it.

And arggggghhh!!!!! Kian never failed to bring something for me every time na nagkikita kami. I might actually believe that he has magic powers. Minsan, yung binibigay niya sa'kin ay flowers, minsan chocolates, minsan any food, minsan drinks naman, at kahit ano lang. I actually find it sweet and charming. Pero the heck! I have to distance myself. And let me tell you, my problem is minsan nakakalimutan ko yung tungkol sa pag-iwas ko for at least a minute.

Okay! Stop talking about that thing. I'm here to relax. This is the time for me to enjoy and forget all stressful and frustrating things.

"Oh my gosh Z! Oh my gosh Lui! We're here na! Yieeeee! I'm so excited!" Jiyo squeaked.

"Wow. Ang ganda naman pala dito" Lui said calmly.

"I know right" Jiyo na tumatalon talon pa because of excitement.

"Let's go. Elle's waiting for us na" I said.

When we entered the hotel, I am mesmerised by the scenery and the beauty of the place. I am in awe. Wow. Hotel pa nga lang, sobrang ganda na. Yung whole island pa kaya? Bizarre.

We went to the front desk to check in.

"Bonjour Mademoiselles and Monsieur! Welcome to Orion's Galaxy Island Resort. How may I help you? Do you have a reservation?" the lady receptionist greeted with a smile.

"Uhm, we have a room reservation under the name of Maxzielle Vasconcellos" I answered.

"May I have your ID and credit card please?" lady receptionist. I gave her my ID and credit card. After checking, she returned my card back to me. "Your room is on the 7th floor, room number 703. Breakfast is served from 6 to 9 AM every morning in the dining area. If you want to view the night sky, the observatory is located at the 20th floor of this hotel"

"Cool. Thank you ma'am" Jiyo

"Is there anything else I can help you with?" lady receptionist

"No, thank you" Lui smiled at the lady receptionist.

"Thank you mademoiselles and monsieur. Enjoy your stay" lady receptionist

We went to our room na. The three of us are in the same room.

Wow. This is freaking amazing! The view is so beautiful! Mas maganda sana kung nandoon kami sa top floor. I bet the view is more amazing there.

Gosh! I really like it here! It's like I'm in heaven. I can see the beautiful view of the island from here.
