CHAPTER 34 - He's Back

Maze's POV

Dinala na namin agad si Kian sa hospital. I'm really worried. I'm on the verge of crying. Hindi ko alam kung anong nangyari sa kanya. I'm scared.

I don't want anything bad to happen to Kian. Bakit ba kasi siya nag-faint?

Buti nalang Skie and MK saw us. Tinulungan nila akong buhatin si Kian. The three of us brought Kian to the hospital.

Susunod daw yung mga friends namin. All of them are worried.

Now, I'm waiting for Kian to wake up. We're in the private room na.

It's really hurting for me to see him in this state. And I have to say sorry to him for everything. I realized na dapat hindi ko siya tinakasan.

It is me who is blind. It is me who doesn't know how to feel and see things. It is me who doesn't know how to love.

I've been blinded by different possibilities.

And now I'm regretting.

Nasaktan ko si Kian. And I won't forgive myself if I continue being a heartless selfish coward.

I wasted a lot of time. Yung mga oras na iniiwasan ko siya, dapat ginamit ko yun to create beautiful memories together.

I'm not saying na sasagutin ko na siya. What I'm trying to say is I won't avoid him anymore. I'll let my heart go with the flow. I'll let the true me take over.

"Maze!" Leil called me.

They're here now.

"Kamusta na siya?" Yan asked worriedly. He went near his brother.

"He's okay now." I answered.

"Salamat naman." Yan sighed in belief.

"Nakausap na pala ni MK ang doctor. You can just ask him."

"Sige, salamat," Yan nodded at me and  smiled slightly.

The others went near Kian.

Someone opened the door kaya napatingin kami sa pinto. It's Jiyo and Lui pala. They went near us.

"Kamusta na siya?" Lui asked. Jiyo looked at me, waiting for my answer.

"He's getting better," I answered.

"That's good to hear."

"Maze, kumain ka na muna. Baka gutom ka na?" Lux asked worriedly sabay abot sa'kin ng food na binili nila.

"Thanks," I smiled.

I do not know what time is it, basta yung alam ko ay gabi na. Yes, I skipped all of my classes just to be with Kian.

Nagsiuwian na ang iba sa'min except for me, Jiyo, Lui, and of course, Yan.

"Maze, umuwi nalang muna kayo nila Jiyo at Lui. Magpahinga muna kayo. Ako na ang bahala dito kay Kian." Yan said while smiling.

"No it's okay. Weekend naman bukas eh." I smiled back to him.

"Z," Lui held my right shoulder. I looked at him. "Umuwi muna tayo okay? Balik nalang tayo dito bukas."

"Kian will be mad kung magpapagod ka. We should go home muna." Jiyo said. 9

Wala akong nagawa. Umuwi muna kami sa bahay. I guess I should rest.

I hope that Kian will be awake tomorrow.
