CHAPTER 25 - Medianoche

Maze's POV

I'm feeling tired.

I went to school really early kasi we have to practice our slow dance. This is so tiring pala. Ang hirap gumawa ng dance steps!

Since it will take us hundred years to finish choreographing the whole song, we decided na sa chorus na lang kami sasayaw.

Ngayon, Kian and I are trying to polish everything.

"I'm so tired. Can we rest for a bit?" I asked. Grabe na ang pawis naming dalawa. Umupo ako sa isang upuan dito to rest.

"Oh sige. Bibili lang ako ng pagkain" Kian. Oh by the way, we're here sa music room.

"Okay"

After how many minutes, bumalik na si Kian. Bumili siya ng mga favorites namin. Yehey!

After resting, nag practice na kami ulit.

We did not notice the time. Our adviser went to us kasi dapat na daw kami magready. The party will begin soon. Gosh!

With the help of Jiyo, I finished styling myself kaagad. Sometimes, I do really need her help. Yeah, kahit she's so annoying sometimes. Siya din ang pumili ng damit ko since I'll be wearing girly clothes today. Alam niyo na, romantic diba? And since girl and boy yung bida sa song namin, I have to wear what's appropriate.

Jiyo applied light makeup on me para mas convincing daw. Nilugay ko lang din ang hair ko.

Before anything else, let me describe to you my outfit for tonight's performance. I'm wearing a white asymmetrical pleated chiffon long skirt paired with a customised pastel purple oversized t-shirt na may white cursive print saying that 'Life is a MAZE'. I'm also wearing a pastel purple beret and a white backless canvas sneakers.

Our adviser wants us to gather doon sa music room kaya I immediately went there after preparing myself.

My eyes searched for Kian at once when I entered the music room. I have to find my partner.

Kian's POV

Pagkatapos kong magbihis, bumalik ako agad sa music room.

Oo nga pala, black skinny formal trousers, thin vertical striped pastel purple and white button down shirt amg suot ko. Hindi ko lang yun tinuck-in. Suot ko namang sapatos ay white sneakers.

Agad kong hinanap si Maze. Mukhang wala pa yata siya dito.

Naghintay lang muna ako ng ilang saglit.

Lalabas na sana ako para hanapin si Maze nang makita ko siyang parang may hinahanap. Pasikreto akong lumapit sa kanya.

"Sinong hinahanap mo?" pabulong kong tanong.

"Si Ki—" naputol ang sasabihin niya. Ako ba? Hindi ko napigilang mapangiti. "Well, I found him already"

Magsasalita pa sana ako kaso mag-uumpisa na yung program. Tinatawag na pala kami ng adviser namin.

"MuKenzie! Let's rock this!" sigaw ng adviser namin.

Nandito na kami ngayon sa Gymnasium. Dapat doon talaga sa ballroom hall yung party kaso mas maliit yung space doon kaysa dito.

Dumating na ang mga guest kaya mag-uumpisa na talaga ang party.

Habang hindi pa kami ni Maze ang magpeperform, nagpractice lang muna kami. Hindi naman yung todo practice. Kapagod kaya yun.
