"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. Welcome to Lakbay International Airport. Local time is five fifty-three in the afternoon and the temperature is thirty-one degrees celcius.

For your safety and comfort, please remain seated with your seatbelt fastened until the Captain turns off the Fasten Seatbelt sign. This will indicate that we have parked at the gate and that it is safe for you to move about. Cellular phones may only be used once the Fasten Seatbelt sign has been turned off.

Please check around your seat for any personal belongings you may have brought on board with you, and please use caution when opening the overhead bins as heavy objects may have shifted around during the flight.

"Mom?" Pagsagot ni Kian.

[Son, are you in the Philippines already?] Tanong ng mommy Rion ni Kian.

"Yes mom. Kararating ko lang. I'll call you when I'm already at home." Sabi ni Kian.

[Sige anak. Ingat. Be careful. Tinawagan ko na ang kapatid mo. He's waiting for you na.] Sabi ng mommy niya.

"Okay mom. Bye." Pagtatapos ni Kian ng tawag. Naglakad na siya upang kunin ang mga bagahe niya.

"Aray!" Sigaw ng isang babae. Nilingon niya naman ito.

"I'm sorry miss. I didn't see you." Pagpapaumanhin ni Kian.

"Hey don't call me mi-tsk. Whatever! Next time, look at where you are going. You said sorry naman. Nice meeting you." Sabi ng babae at umalis na agad.

Looking at them from afar, they look like total strangers that had crossed paths but did not take the chance to know each other. Para lang silang nagbangga and then wala na!

Pero kung titignang mabuti, hindi nila namalayang nakaukit na pala ang malapad na ngiti sa kanilang mga mukha.

Ngunit mas mahirap sagutin ang tanong na Bakit tumibok ang kanilang mga puso nang makita ang isa't isa?
