[Reign's POV]
It's just a day to go before our June 16th meeting. I'm nervous about what's going to happen. "Will Princess accept me just as I am or not?" I ask myself as I'm currently on my lunch break. But I'll hear from her tomorrow. Since last year after the conference, she caught my eye. I mean what's there not to be attracted to? She's beautiful inside-out. I miss my grandma right now because she would be the person to advice me on what to do.
Since from the age of 8, I already knew what I wanted in a woman. Call me too young but I did. I've always wanted a God fearing woman, intelligent, beautiful, caring and loving. Princess perfectly fits the description. I can't believe after my first encounter of her, I declared her my wife. I felt that it was wrong for me to do so as she was still taken but I couldn't disagree with my heart. I said what my heart felt even though I stayed out of her way because she was taken.
Her birthmark on her forehead, beautiful Hazel dark brown eyes, small and Chinese shaped, African nose, tan skin, lovely ears. Her lips: Full, a shade of black, towards the opening they're plump and pink. A dimple on her right cheek when she smiles, chubby cheeks when she blushes/smiles. If I had to put those cheeks in an emoticon it would be this one: 😊. Yeah.. Broad shoulders, small arms and baby hands, small and cute fingers, flat stomach, small waist. Curvy, great behind, beautiful lady's legs. I can tell she's a size 3.
Over all.. She's beautiful. Has respect for elders, herself, peers and even kids. She's independent though a bit scared to take risks from what I see. My nieces look up to her. From academics to spirituality and life in general. Both Future and Revival love Princess so much. Like she's their own sister. However, Princess hasn't seemed to make out why after church Revival loves being with me. Not that I plan on telling her that her Spiritual mother is my aunt and automatically Future together with Revival are my nieces.
She radiates such positive energy around her for her age. She's going to Varsity next year. Should she agree to be with me, I'll have to wait for her to go study for three years and come back to me. I've never been in a serious relationship before. My high school days were filled with a lot of girls, me chasing after them, them swooning at my feet until I successfully earned the "Player" title. It was good then. All the booze, girls and parties. But I knew I wasn't going to get my soulmate from that kind of life style.
My late grandma knew exactly what I wanted in a woman. Mom, aunt and her older sister thought it was crazy for an 8 year old to talk about a wife but gran thought otherwise. She told me that I shouldn't take what I was saying lightly.. For two reasons. 1. (Proverbs 18:21 The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.) 2. (Psalms 37:4 Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you your heart’s desires.) I knew God would grant me a wife. But I had to find her and choose her.
(Proverbs 18:22 He who finds a wife, finds a good thing and gains the favor of the Lord.) Even though girls in high school, I repented after my uncle Warrior a.k.a Ps Chris encouraged me to find my way back home. Home to the Lord. I grew up meeting a lot of missionaries from across the world. We did Bible study, did biblical plays while my aunt Lizzy a.k.a Ps Cecile was still in ministry training. Honestly, I felt pressured in high school because being a Godly child was unpopular.
Besides being unpopular, I was entangled by my foolish ways, earthly desires and I chose to please my friends. But little did I know. Now I'm facing the consequences of my actions. Friends are nowhere. But to be honest, I'm glad that what happened had happened. It was my turning point. Had the prodigal son not run out of money and starve, he would have never went back to his father's place. We all have a turning point, either that or a recourse point.
I mean had the sailors not experienced trouble from the storm, Jonah would have not considered being thrown into the sea and he would have definitely went to Tarshish.
Jonah 1:8-17
[8]“Why has this awful storm come down on us?” they demanded. “Who are you? What is your line of work? What country are you from? What is your nationality?”
[9]Jonah answered, “I am a Hebrew, and I worship the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the land.”
[10]The sailors were terrified when they heard this, for he had already told them he was running away from the Lord. “Oh, why did you do it?” they groaned.
[11]And since the storm was getting worse all the time, they asked him, “What should we do to you to stop this storm?”
[12]“Throw me into the sea,” Jonah said, “and it will become calm again. I know that this terrible storm is all my fault.”
[13]Instead, the sailors rowed even harder to get the ship to the land. But the stormy sea was too violent for them, and they couldn’t make it.
[14]Then they cried out to the lord, Jonah’s God. “O lord,” they pleaded, “don’t make us die for this man’s sin. And don’t hold us responsible for his death. O lord, you have sent this storm upon him for your own good reasons.”
[15]Then the sailors picked Jonah up and threw him into the raging sea, and the storm stopped at once!
[16]The sailors were awestruck by the lord’s great power, and they offered him a sacrifice and vowed to serve him.
[17]Now the lord had arranged for a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was inside the fish for three days and three nights.
Had Saul not went after Peter and other disciples of Jesus to Damascus, he would have not had the encounter with Jesus. We all have a recourse in life. I found mine at the age of 19. From my childhood upbringing and ways, I can definitely tell that Princess is the one. She's the one I've been telling my late gran about. How I wish she could meet her. She would have loved her. I know I do.

Nope. No. I'm not having it. I'm not letting some church dude take what's mine. She's mine. Inner had been nothing but supportive to me. She really mothered me at times and I loved it. But my friends said I was bewitched. I tried acting bad in front of them to make them think I disliked Inner's behavior but in an actual fact, I loved her care for me. One of my real friends Remembrance, told me that the guys envied what I had with Inner.
That, me impressing them was hurting Inner for the people who didn't matter. I knew it but I was too stubborn to admit and so hurting her. Apart from the break up, what broke me was the facts that.. 1. Some of my guys wanted Inner. Even though the no exes bro-code rule still stands, the guys would just remind me how I ill treated Inner. Which is true. 2. She had moved on. I'd do anything to get her back. That guy must have known about me but still chose to take her from me. I'm not backing down on this one.
She's has been, she is and forever will be the one for me. She's the one I love. She's the one I want. She's the one I need. I love her and I'll move mountains to get her back. No matter the cost. That dude has been mistaken if he thinks he can just take her like that without me putting up a fight. I'll show him real good that he messed up couple of the decade. Inner's mine. And I'll get her back.
