[Reign's POV]

Princess is beyond mad at me right now. She's even threatening to leave. I honestly don't know what next. This is the day we're supposed to be open with each other and still be civilized about it. Even if she had said yes, I would have told her about Pablo. I guess I'm meant to die alone with my son running my empire. I owe it to him. Princess has everything.. The brains, both parents, stability and the love. I had to fight for the love she has right now. What was I even thinking. She could never love me. She despised me before, now I made it worse. I'll just die with my love for her. This is the end of the road for me.

Princess: "Yeah right. Do you have any idea how much pain and humiliation the poor girl went through for you?" She's still scolding me but she's a bit calmer than before.
Me: "Princess, I know. And I'm sorry. I'm not that type of a guy. I also thank God that He saved me. The old has passed, all things are new Princess. (2 Corinthians 5:17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!) I just have to move forward and do right by my little man." he says. "Uhh.. What about you? Any exes?" Reign asks while rubbing his neck because Inner still looks annoyed.
Princess: Deeply and heavily sighs. "Well, I have four exes. I started dating in grade five. The first one cheated and said new wine replaces old wine. I dumped him. The second one cheated from the beginning but I was blind. I only dumped him when I was sure of his affairs, but I didn't feel safe around him anymore. So I ended it. The third ex was to get over my previous one, we only lasted for nine months I think and it was the shortest of them all. My last ex.. Well he cheated repeatedly, I dumped him a while ago after two years and eight months." She said nonchalantly.

Me: 😂😂"Look at you with a clean record of exes. You really are special Princess. That guy you've been talking about is truly blessed if you ask me. Those guys didn't deserve you at all" he said trying to get rid of the awkwardness. But Inner glared at him. "S-sorry." Reign said looking anywhere but at her. "Uhh.. Why do you want only one child if I'm permitted to ask?" Reign asks. 'God. She really is special. She really is a Proverbs 31 woman. Worth more than rubies.' Reign thinks to himself. (Proverbs 31:10 Who can find a virtuous and capable wife? She is more precious than rubies.)
Princess: "Well I'm the only child at home. Besides, I don't wanna make many trips to the hospital to give birth so one child will do for me. I also love adoption. I want to adopt up to a 100 kids.. Some will live with me, others I'll adopt them for couples who can't conceive then fund them for the rest of their lives. Every child deserves genuine love." Inner says with complete love in her eyes.

Me: "Wow Princess. That's amazing. You have it in you. Anything else regarding love life your mystery guy has to know maybe?" I ask her in a teasing tone.
Princess: "Well nothing else besides the fact that I'd like three rings. A promise ring, an engagement one and a wedding one. All because I'd love to have that.😍🤭☺️" she says with heart shaped eyes, a blush on her face and a grin, if I were to put emojis to her right now.
Me: "You truly are peculiar Princess. I'm impressed. Now let's eat. It's going to get late if we don't leave now. I don't want your parents worrying about you and your safety" I said.

After 20 minutes of silently munching on their pies and drinks and snacks.. It was time for them to head home.

[Inner's POV]

STEP mom.. I can't believe he wants me to be his son's step mom. A seventeen-well soon to be eighteen year old step mom? He's got to be kidding me. I can't believe it. I know I'm willing to adopt a child whose parents I don't know, but being a step mom? Lord.. Can I be cursed more than I am now. He doesn't even look like he's slept with someone before. Well he has but doesn't give it out. He says he was drunk and lost.. Well it kind of explains why he's never dated after then or so he says. Until he met me. How can I be such a fool? Well I better get home. It's getting late and we have a long walk ahead of us.
