[Thanksgiven's POV]

Today I'm meeting up with Inner. I really regret what I said and how I've been. She should just understand that everything I'm doing now is to get back at Lovers for how he's been towards me. I really love her and need her badly. I'm going to tell her my reasons. Yup. Today I win her back.

[Hours later]
[Same POV]

I see her waking towards me. She looks exhausted but stunning as ever. I know she's in no mood to listen to me. But I'm gonna try and make her hear me out. She's slowly approaching. Lemme brace myself for this meeting.

Me: "Hey Inner.. Uhm. Thanks for agreeing to meet with me. Listen I-" She cuts me off with her raised hand.
Inner: "No. You listen to me Tee. We're gonna walk over there to the park benches. Sit down and talk. Okay babe?" I look at her.. Obviously taken aback by her calmness. But she said babe.. That's a good sign right?
Me: We're at the benches now. Both looking at each other intensely. "Inner I can explain. I promise tha-" She cuts me off again. Now, I'm starting to get annoyed and she sees it.
Inner: "No promises remember. Just explain." She says with a cocked eyebrow and a scoff.
Me: "Okay. But promise me that you won't cut me off." I say.
Inner: "No promises. Just talk." I see her slowly losing her temper.
Me: "Inner I'm sorry. I never meant to hurt you. I was doing all this to get back at Lovers with the girl. I swear."

Inner: "It's either a yes or a no or just a plain explanation. Swearing won't help. Go on." She says.
Me: "Babe I really need you. I love you and only you. Please babe, we can work things out. I need you." I say.
Inner: "Keep talking until you're done Tee. I'm here for you." She says placing her hand on mine, with the other taking out her phone with tears in her eyes. Honestly I'm happy she said and did that.
Me: "Baby, forget about my needs. I only need you." I say.
Inner: "Tee you really sound like a broken record. Anything you want to add maybe?" She asks.
Me: "Uhhh.. I'm done. Why?" I ask dumbfounded.
Inner: "Good." She says. "Now my turn to speak." She says as a song starts playing on her phone. "Just listen to me. Cause I'm only going to say this once." She says as she starts humming to the song playing on her phone.
