Y/N pov:
I woke up to the sound of my alarm playing on my bedside table. My 'parents' were on a business trip together trying to get a new job in Splendorius since they're interested in the way they live. It's just been me and my brother for a while... Lately it's been way more boring without everyone around. But I don't really care. I couldn't care less what happened to them. But.. That's the thing. I don't care about anything anymore. I just feel numb. I can't even speak to people properly. Imagine how schools going to be... Wait. Who am I even going to hang out with in school? Not that I care because I could be by myself, but I have a reputation. The basic girl who had loads of boys falling for her everyday and leaving gifts in her lockers. I did have friends before Maya and the girls but it was only to do sports, help out in the library etc. Ugh. Too much thinking hurts.
Austin: "Y/N! There's someone at the door for you!"
Oh goody. People come to see me. I swear if it's those girls again or worse, Ira, I'm literally going to delete them from this world. I walked downstairs and saw Johnny?
Johnny: "Goodmorning Y/N!"
Y/N: "Oh. Wow. Hi."
Austin: "So Uhm. Johnny here says he's going to walk you to school?"
Y/N: "Uhm. Oh that's lovely."
Johnny: "Okay well you ready?"
Y/N: "Yeah. Wait no. One moment."
I walked upstairs to get my tie. I overheard Johnny and Austin downstairs near the door.
Johnny: "Has she been like that ever since the.. accident?"
Austin: "Yeah.. She hasn't been talking normally. Your lucky if her sentences last longer that 6 words heh...It must've been when she hit her head on the ground..."
I didn't want them talking about me in that way anymore because it bothered me a tiny bit. So I walked back down.
Y/N: "I'm ready."
Johnny: "Okay! Let's go to learn!"
Y/N: "Yes thats...Lovely."
We left the house in silence. Why did he want to bring me to school when I would've been perfectly fine on my own? I hope it's not another one of their plans... From what I heard they don't go very well. When we got to the front gate of the school I saw Regina.. With the rest of them.. Great. Ira has puffy eyes and it looked like he had been crying. They looked confused when they saw Johnny next to me but instead he just smiled. I walked up to the door until, Jun, the new member of the student council came up to me.
Jun: "H-hi Y/N... I'm Jun.."
Y/N: "I know."
Jun: "Oh! Y-you do? Well uhm some of the students planned a surprise for you in the school!"
I glanced over at the girls and Ira and saw another confused expression. Atleast it's not part of some plan...
Jun: "I'll walk you in..."
Y/N: "...k.."
When I walked in I saw... A BANNER?! It said: Your single, Hooray! What the frick? Word gets around quick in this school... I saw Regina about to tap my shoulder but before she could a whole row of boys practically bowed at my feet with gifts and cards in their hands.
Boys: "GOODMORNING Y/N!"
Jun: "T-they wanted to congratulate you on being uhm single and give you gifts..."
Y/N: "It's really-"
Before I could finish, the two most popular girls in the school came up to me: Cassie and Effy. Cassie was pretty rich and was always wearing trendy accessories. She's really kind and athletic. Effy doesn't talk much but I've seen her talk to Cassie. They're best friends and have been since they were born. Effy is also rich but doesn't really show it. She's very pretty like Cassie and she's the one of the smartest girls in our grade/ year. So why were they coming up to me?
Cassie: "Hi! Goodmorning, these boys made this whole thing for you!"
Y/N: "Okay..."
Effy: "Your hanging out with us today, because we heard that your done with your so called friends."
Y/N: "oh..."
Jun: "I-I guess I'll be going then.."
Cassie: "Goodbye!"
Jun walked off back outside to greet the others.
Cassie: "So what do you think? They all have loads of gifts to give you!"
Effy leaned in towards my ear and nudged me.
Effy: "They want to date you..."
Y/N: "Oh.. that's lovely."
They smiled at me as they took either one of my arms and wrapped theirs around it. We walked down the long row of boys while we collected the gifts. Jeez there was so much! This day was going to be tiring... But maybe, it'll be better because... I've found some new friends...
A/N: The chapter isn't that long today sorry! I wanted to give a perspective of the school life and not just out of school. Cassie and Effy are going to be a big help in the next few chapters so don't forget them! :)
