Chapter 22

FRANCHESKA'S POV

I held my tears while driving towards the mansion. I felt like visiting the place.

As usual, the guard greeted me and opened the gate for me. I went in and parked the car infront of the entrance.

Pag pasok ko ay nakahilera na ang mga maid sa tapat ng stairs, probably to greet me. I walked pass them and went straight to my room. I locked the doors behind me and went straight to the bathroom. I took off my contacts at inilagay yun sa lalagyan nun.

"I knew it." I said and sat on the floor while hugging my knees.

The video from earlier flashed on my mind.

It was Haru kissing Alleiya in his office.

Para akong hinugutan ng hininga. It's suffocating me...

I tried to stop my tears but it just keeps on falling.

"Cheska, baka nagkamali kalang wa---"

I tried to calm my self down but was cut off when my phone started ringing. Kinuha ko yun at nakita ang pangalan ni Haru.

Tinitigan ko lang yun. I was not on the mood to answer calls right now.

Argh! Freaking life! Bat ako nalang palagi! Damn it!

Galit kong inihampas sa sahig ang kamay ko habang umiiyak.

The ringing ended. Pero muli akong napabaling doon nung muli yong nag vibrate.

Another message from the so called "unknown" number messaged me again.

I opened the message and saw that it was only a voice message.

Tinitigan ko muna yun.

Should I?

Without hesistation, I played the voice message.

"Baka nakalimutan mong, napilitan kalang na mahalin si Cheska." I heard a girl's voice.

"Anong napilitan?"

I heard Haru's voice.

Napilitan?

"Haru, Haru, Haru." A girl called her but I know that it's Alleiya. "It was all because of a bet that you were forced to love her."

W-what? Anong bet?

There was a moment of silence

"See? Hindi ka nga makapag salita." Alleiya continued.

"Oo. It was because of the bet. I didn't really love her at that time."

After that the message ended.

Nanginig ang mga kamay ko. I regreted listening to the message.

"B-bet?" Nauutal kong tanong sa sarili.

I knew it. He's just playing with me.

Napatayo ako. Nawala ang sakit kundi napalitan ito ng galit. Dali-dali akong tumayo at inayos ang aking sarili. Padabog akong lumabas kaya naman na gulat ang mga maid dahil malakas kong isinara ang pinto.

I trusted you but... you never changed.

Pumasok ako sa loob ng sasakyan ko at malakas na isinara ang pinto. A mixture of Pain, sadness, anger, regrets filled through me.

Sana, hindi nalang ako naniwala sayo Haru. I believed and yet you lied. Damn it!

Nagmamaneho ako papunta sa companya ni Haru. Gustong-gusto ko nang sabunutan si Alleiya at sampalin si Haru. Betrayers!
