I open my computer and my friend sends me this game to download on Steam called "Doki Doki Literature Club". I never heard of this game, but I am a fan of visual novel games. I am bored and looking for something to do. I decide to download and open the game;
Game: "This game is not suitable for children or those who are easily disturbed."
Game: "Individuals suffering from anxiety or depression may not have a safe experience playing this game. For content warnings, please visit: "
Game: "By playing Doki Doki Literature Club, you agree that you are at least 13 years of age, and you consent to your exposure of highly disturbing content."
I select "I agree."
???: "This game, disturbing, no!"
Game: "Team Salvato"
Game: This game is not suitable for children or those easily disturbed"
Sayori (presumably): "Doki! Doki!"
The main menu appears in front of me playing a happy tune.
I select, "New Game"
Game: "Please enter your name"
I typed in my name, "John"
I selected "Ok"
The screen turned dark and the game is about to begin! "What could go wrong?" I kept asking myself as I was being "transported" to the world of the game.
