Fifty-Six

Three months later

Jin wrapped the test he was looking at and threw it in the trash, then he wiped his eyes as he heard Jungkook's footsteps getting closer to the bathroom.

"Babe, are you good?"

Taking a deep breath, he turned around and smiled at Jungkook, "yeah, I am, are they here?"

Jungkook looked at his omega and frowned, "are you sure you are okay?"

Jin walked towards him and kissed him on the lips lightly before pulling away, "I am fine, now let's go meet our guest."

"You know if you are not ready to see Jimin and the-"

"Jungkook, I said I am fine, so please stop!" Jin snaps at him and pushes past him to walk out of their bathroom.

Composing himself as he made it into their bedroom, he took up the bag with the gifts he had gotten for Jimin and Taehyung's babies and walked out of the room.

Jungkook walked over to the trash and looked into it, finding the third pregnancy test he had found within the last two weeks, which was negative. His throat felt dry, and he walked towards the bathroom door and closed it.

Leaning against the door, he slid to the floor and buried his face between his knees as he began crying. He knew how much pain his omega was in, but he had been shutting him out ever since their trip, and his comment, it was clear, he didn't find his words comforting, and though he never said anything, it was evident in his actions.

He was no longer sharing with him that he was taking pregnancy tests , Jungkook would only find them when he was emptying the trash or seeing the credit card statements of purchases.

As an Alpha he didn't know what to do, they had a healthy sex life, Jin had gone through his heat more than once in the last few months, and still, nothing, which he knew had been driving Jin crazy.

Even though they were doing things together and enjoying their time together, he could feel it; his omega was empty; there were times he wasn't present mentally or emotionally, even when he was there physically. Seeing him like that was destroying Jungkook as well, but he couldn't show it because he didn't want to make things harder for Jin, so on days where he felt overwhelmed, he hid and cried his eyes out, hoping for a miracle.

He was beginning to think that adoption would probably be the best for them, but it was something he didn't know how to bring up to his unpredictable omega.

"They are adorable." Jin gushes as he took in Jimin and Taehyung twin girls. They were identically and a splitting combination of their parents.

Jimin smiled at Jin thankful for his compliment, he had wanted to see him for a while now, but because of everything that had happened, he was not able to see him. However, he understood, and even as he watched Jin holding one of his daughters, his heart ached, thinking about what type of pain Jin must have been going through.

Jin looks at the baby in his arms and bites the inside of his cheek before smiling at her. "You are an adorable princess. Are your Appa and Dad taking good care of you and your sister?"

"Of course we are; they are our princesses." Taehyung butted in as he held his other daughter in his arms.

Jimin looked over at his Alpha and smiled, although what happened with Jin had been unfortunate, it weirdly created a shift in his life. His Alpha had completely done a three-sixty as he grew concerned, realizing how short life was and how the damaging situation that had happened to Jin could have possibly happened to his omega.
