It's the start of the UAAP Season 75 Volleyball and I've been hearing much about this "Mika Reyes" on twitter. To be honest, I've never seen her personally, so I'm quite curious why everyone's so into her. I mean, I've watched her play on tv, and she's just quite okay for me. So what's the hype all about? Little did I know, even my siblings are fangirling and fanboying over her also.

(I was just lying in my bed when Thirdy and Dani came in after watching the game live)

Dani: Manong, sayang you didn't watch with us kanina. Grabee, ang ganda ng game. And of course, Mika Reyes. She's so pretty. Look oh, we even have a picture together. She's so nice. And again, ang pretty talaga.

Thirdy: Kayo lang ba may picture? Ako din noh. Haaay Mika Reyes, bat ba ang ganda ganda mo?!

Me: Puro kayo maganda, eh ang tanong, magaling ba? (I know I just sounded like a hater)

Dani: Oo noh. She's one of the best blockers kaya.

Thirdy: Hater ka bro. Magaling siya. And watch her play live kasi, hindi yung nacucurious ka lang diyan of how she looks like in person.

(And suddendly, I was like "how did Thirdy know na medyo curious din ako about Mika Reyes?" or am I just feeling guilty 'coz somehow, I wanted to go with them kanina but I chose not to 'coz Trinca might ask what the hell am I doing there eh wala namang game ang Ateneo.)

Yeah, you heard it right, it's Trinca. We're not yet together, so of course, ipon muna ako pogi points 'coz I've been waiting for her to say "yes". She's one of our student managers. The best thing about her, being the student manager that she is, eh super maalaga. A few have asked me already why I chose her over the rest of the girls out there. Actually, hindi ko din alam. One thing is sure, she's not my ideal girl. She's not tall and athletic. Though she loves my sport. Pero dahil maalaga, I guess nadevelop ako. So basically, I'm taken already, so unlike my brother, I'm good, lol.

Me: Curious? Me? Why would I be? I've seen her play on tv, and there's no big deal naman about her.

Thirdy: Exactly, sa tv ka lang nanood. But when you watch her live, sinasabi ko sayo, she looks different. Ang ganda ganda.

Me: Tomboy naman ata eh.

Dani: Ang sama naman ng term, hindi ah. I've heard nga na may bf siya eh.

(Hearing that from Dani, I feel like I was a bit frustrated. Feeling ko bumaba yung energy ko. P*ta bakit?? No big deal nga diba?)

Me: Matutulog na ako. Cge na, sana mapanaginipan niyo yang Mika Reyes niyo.

It's volleyball weekend once again, and my Mom is going to cover the second game which is DLSU vs. UST with Kuya Boom. She likes covering UST games for obvious reasons. Lol. First game is ADMU vs. FEU. The whole family is going to watch, ganun naman pag may game ang Ateneo or UST. I didn't bother to ask Trinca if she wants to watch with us since ang alam ko, she's only interested to watch pag DLSU vs. ADMU yung game. Until my phone rang just before we leave the house.....

Me: Are you sure??

Trinca: Why? You don't want me to watch it with you?

Me: No, it's not that. I just thought you're not interested to watch since hindi naman DLSU kalaban.

Trinca: Well, it's still an Ateneo game. So? Unless you don't have a ticket for me na.

Me: Of course Trincs, meron pa dito. May naka reserve naman lagi eh. I'm actually happy to know that. Sunduin na kita?
