Dyad // Kai Parker

Chapter Five

"We will use the ascendant to harness the power of the eclipse and ride our way out of here." Kai explained with a smile, that's cute.

"Where's the real one?" Bonnie asked as Damon nursed his drink he was clearly upset our saviour came in the form of Kai.

"That's where you come in, you need to do a locator spell to find it, last time we had it was in Portland." He explained and bonnie furrowed her brows.

"We?" She questioned.

"Yes as in my family, you know coven of witches." I face palmed, idiot. Damon rushed to him angrily like a Pitbull on steroids.

"Your telling me you had her jumping through hoops and your a witch." Kai smiled innocently stepping closer to the table bonnie was setting up.

"No magic and of course my coven didn't take that to well." He shrugged and bonnie looked at me sympathetically, Jesus I'm not a pity case, its like every time it comes up she has to remind me i have no magic. Bonnie laid the map out and took a breath, Damon was still confronting Kai so sneakily i sucked a bit of magic from my dear sister whilst winking at her. 

"Somethings up with him, to many secrets. I need a bit of juice." I whispered to her and she nodded wearily, god I'm not going to kill you calm yourself. The boys came back to the table oblivious and i smiled sneakily, kais blood dropped onto the table and i felt the tingle of magic as bonnie chanted.

Then a pull, i let my new found magic guide my senses along the map from behind everyone as kai instructed bonnie on how to focus, of course she couldn't not when she could feel my pull of magic over bearing hers. Turns out not only was i the useless witch but also the untamed reckless one when i obtained magic, its hilarious.

That's when i felt it, my attention no longer on the map but kai. I stood from my spot and walked forward catching kais attention and narrowing my eyes at him. I used my last bit of magic to send the flames rising as if bonnie had completed her spell and placed my hand on kai's chest right where a lump had formed under his jacket. What a weasel. 

"Its right here." I stated tapping it to make a clinking noise as i shuck my head. Bonnie eyed me and i shrugged. 

"What's with all the games jack ass." Damon scolded pulling me away once again, turns out Damon doesn't like when I'm face to face with the new guy.

"Just a little test to see if Bonnie's magic is up to scratch." He paused looking over to me as if contemplating before shrugging it off as i played innocent and oblivious.

"I do believe your ready, pack your bags where going home." That was enough for me to shoot upstairs and retrieve my astounding amount of belongings being a polaroid collection, a few of Stefan's shirts and my grams grimoire. Might as well bring a copy in case bonnie ever decides not to share.

When i came back down we were all headed out of the door and i was smiling wildly. Bonnie had a look of distaste on her face and Damon looked just as happy as me. I linked arms with him as we strutted out the door.

"Why all the mind games?" Bonnie asked filling the silence as Kai danced around like madman with the ascendant and me and Damon sword fight with sticks.

"I wanted to feel Azzy's hand on my chest." He answered sending me a wink and due to my brilliant mood a blew him a kiss. He clearly looked surprised by my excellent mood but smiled none the less with a giddy look on his face.

"There's something wrong with him." Bonnie complained and i shrugged, i already knew that.

"Your just not use to psychopath's hitting on your sister yet." Eugh he still thinks me and Kol had a thing? He needs to let that go.

"Wait remember when kai said he had all those siblings and was from Portland?" Bonnie asked and i nodded half heartedly as she picked up a news paper from one of damons aeroplanes.

"Family massacred in Portland only missing is the eldest 22 Malachai Parker." She spoke and i bit my lip, shit i had read that article a lot. Should have mentioned it sooner.

"Who names a kid Malachai its like they expected me to be evil." I nodded with a shrug, if the shoe fits buddy.

"All these children were murdered!" Bonnie spat as he sauntered forward standing between us to point out the siblings.

"Not all of them i had a soft spot for one of my sisters otherwise i would have ripped her lungs out and not just her spleen." Bonnie paled and retracted.

"You can live without a spleen." Me and kai stated at the same time making me glare at him, creepy facts are my thing man.

"Anyway uh these two i hung of the stair rail and this one i stabbed in her abdomen and then this one i drowned in the pool but he kept fighting me and i was like i saved you for last you ungrateful little... Anyway that was that." Kai explained and i nodded along with him listening to him retell the story. That Joey kid was definitely ungrateful, last for murder and free swimming lessons? What a good big bro kai is.... not.

"This prison is for you." Bonnie stated stepping back and i inwardly groaned, i knew where this was going.

"I'm not letting him out." She looked to me and Damon apologetically with a sad face, i shrugged. I'm use to being let down by now, everyone for themselves.

"Bonnie-" Damon started but was cut off as kai stepped forward.

"That's not good enough for me." Kai lunged for bonnie only to have Damon pin him up against a tree, this is gonna set there bromance back a lot.

"I may be having a disagreement with bon but if you ever touch any of these girls ill kill you." Damon threatened and i smile at having been included. Kai sighed.

"Doesn't matter now the eclipse is over, rain check for tomorrow?" He questioned as Damon let him drop with a thud.

"No." Bonnie stated firmly as she stormed back into the boarding house.
