Dyad // Kai Parker

Chapter Three

That's not a good sign really is it? No by then Damon had already taken a sip of the bourbon I'm guessing was poisoned as he spat it out with a sizzle here and there.

"Vervain in your bourbon who didn't see that coming." This Kai dude asked grabbing an umbrella from the stand like i had done earlier. I rose my hand muttering a quick me as Damon stood. 

"I'm gonna rip your head off." Damon huffed weakly and Kai proceeded to disagree. As he smashed all the bourbon showering Damon in the acid.

"I didn't know which bottle you would take so i vervained them all." Spare time much, dude needs a hobby.

"I'm not so caught up about vampires but I'm pretty sure a stake through the heart will do it." He shrugged snapping an umbrella over his knee. I would do something but Damon is always like. You are vulnerable stay out of fights in case i cant heal you blah blah.

"Who buys garden furniture in a supermarket? I mean someone must otherwise it wouldn't be here." He stated stabbing a stake through damons hand, last straw kinda thing. Making me stand up with all the grace of a butterfly more like pissed off elephant. 

"You like to talk, i get that but the whole stabbing thing is gonna have to wait a tick because i like the sizzling blood sucker in front of you." I stated grabbing my own umbrella and he only smirked.

"I don't want to hurt you Azalea, but i will." Kai was calm and so sure of himself making me roll my eyes, whatever. Damon was groaning and commanding me to step down.

"And your to pretty to die but ill get over it." I shrugged before hitting him in the stomach with the blunt end of the umbrella before wiping his feet from under him with the other end. I then placed the pointy bit against his throat with a pout.

"Expected more to be honest." I complained just as i felt my feet disappear from under me, sneaky twit. I huffed a laugh as my palms and back connect with shards of glass. 

"Well i don't want to disappoint." He smirked standing before raising the stake above Damon.

"Leave them alone." Bonnie freaking bennet to the rescue demanded making Kai laugh.

"Great the useless one is here." Was he talking about me or bonnie? Its hard to tell where kinda even at the moment.

"I've watched you fail at magic for months, its embarrassing I'm embarrassed for you." He taunted raising the stake ready to bring it down on my buddy. Bonnie glared at a candle and it lit making me huff a laugh and clap, but i winced as the glass lodged deeper not my best moment. Damon grabbed me and sped away just as bonnie uttered Incendia and did god knows what to Kai.

In damons car which he found at some point he fed me his blood after he removed all the glass carefully. Kai was knocked out in the back seat with bonnie as i was shotgun with Damon, turns out you get special treatment when you get wounded, epic. Arriving back at the boarding house was heavenly, I had a shower and a fresh pair of clothes waiting and then an awesome evening of torture planned.

I practically skipped down the stairs to the living room whilst drying my hair so it wasn't dripping as the pleasant sound of groans of pain filled my ears. I smiled a toothy grin at my sister as i glided onto the sofa ready for the night ahead.

"Wakey wakey sleeping beauty." Damon poked him with the fire poker sing songily. I smiled as his eyes opened and he took in the room. Kai looked to Damon who wore a bright smirk and held pork rinds and a poker.

"Let me guess, i answer correctly i get a pork rind, i answer wrong i get a poker." Damon tutted shaking his head.

"Nope these are for her, she's had a rough day, you just get the poker." I grinned as i ripped open the bag, winking at a pouting kai.

"I would share but you tried to kill Fangsy." Damon shot me a look that said shut up but where's the fun in that, I'm the antagoniser for a reason.

"You didn't think i would actually kill Damon did you? What kind of monster would kill 1/4 of the population?" Kai babbled, and Godzilla would fyi. 

"It didn't look like that when you were trying to stake me." Damon retorted and i laughed with a nod.

"The point is bonnie got her magic back it worked." Damon looked to bonnie with a questioning gaze.

"Your telling me all that was so bonnie could get her magic back?" Damon asked and i scoffed, he just said that. 

"Yes because Bonnies magic is the way out of here." Kai explained to Damon like a five year old, i smiled standing with a stretch.

"Perfect, answers we didn't already know." I rolled my eyes stepping closer ripping the poker from Damon. I placed it against Kai's throat menacingly.

"I'm gonna need you to tell us how exactly or I'm going to loose my patience." I threatened inching my face closer and he gulped.

"Sorry I'm kinda nervous your like really hot and i haven't been near a woman in a long time." I smirked whilst shaking me head, wrong answer buddy. I applied more pressure slicing his skin ready to kill before Damon ripped me away. 

"Oh so her threats are real, got it my bad. Ill tell you, under a few conditions." Kai spoke glancing at bonnie then at Damon who had a death grip on me, god its like I'm a child. I looked to kai with a tilted head and mischievous smirk on my face. If he wants to play games we'll play but i will always win and that is something he's gonna have to learn, the hard way.
