Chapter Thirty-Two

Snow! Actual snow, my tears dried up as i looked up feeling the flakes hit my nose. I peered over to Care who was looking around confused a long with everyone else. Except Kai, i turned my body to him as he looked down at me with a grin. I chuckled seeing the flakes land in his hair. The pace was picking up and the snowflakes where getting bigger making me bounce up and down on the spot.

"This is so spooky." I giggled sticking my tongue out to catch the cold droplets.

"No it's magic." Bonnie wiggled her fingers as a shiver slid down my spine making me wrap the coat further around myself.

"Let's go get you dressed then you can come back out." I hummed as kai spoke nodding before passing him his coat and running off grabbing care on my way.

"It's freezing!" I chuckled as she laughed silently as people called out our names.

"Grab some snow." She instructed with a whisper placing her finger over her lips, i nodded eagerly. So we did and eventually we had made an army of snow ball's as foot steps approached our hiding spot. Leaping from behind the tree we each threw a couple at who ever had found us.

It was Elena, who was now covered in the freezing substance, i high fived Caroline before bolting from the tree's holding the rest of my ammo in a huddle in my bare arms. Aiming with all my focus i corked Stefan in the back of the head making him grin before grabbing a bunch of snow from the floor.

Panicking i dashed as fast as my legs could carry me to kai dropping my creation with a pout for extra speed. Stefan threw the snow anyway but kai managed to catch it with his magic making me chuckle darkly flipping Stefan off. With out another second passing snow was raising from the ground and launching for Stefan, even with his vampire speed he couldn't dodge kai's assault which had me in a fit as he hit the ground from the impact.

Kai then turned to look at me shaking his head and grinning.

"Put my coat back on or ill stop the snow." I pouted reluctantly putting it back on and fastening it around me as tight as i could.

"Alright mom." Once it was on i crouched down picking up some snow blowing on the ball i made for good luck. I was grinning like a maniac as Kai turned back to Stefan who was getting up, most likely for revenge. During his distraction i pulled the back of his top dropping the snow down it.

He gasped shaking frantically at the coldness before turning with a glare making me worry again because i had no magic.

"Day! Bon! Someone even Elena!" I yelled making my cold legs carry me as fast as i could away from kai who was gathering snow like it was a bunch of money on the floor. Bonnie looked over to me frantically and stopped throwing balls at Matty as she gestured for me to look out. I turned my head to see kai chasing me with an absolute mass of snow, i ran faster then i had in a while screaming bloody murder.

Damon sped in front of me taking the brunt of the attack leaving what ever got past him to land on me making me squeal and shiver. Before i knew it Elena was over me dropping a pile of snow on my head from my place on the floor where Damon had pushed me out of the way.

"Revenge is a dish best served cold." She grinned and i held back a chuckle as my bottom lip started to shake. Standing hastily i rubbed my legs and shot forward tackling her to the ground making us laugh in a fit.

"Don't eat yellow snow!" Bonnie suddenly yelled and i snorted, yeah because i planned on it, i bet matt was picking some up or something. I was pulled out of my thoughts as i was literally pulled from my little ditch with Elena. Turning i came face to face with care who passed me a snowball. She nodded to kai who stood with his hands in the pockets of his jeans glaring at Stefan who was ready to launch his attack at him.

I nodded as she held up a ball to whispering to me.

"You distract him, ill get a shot at his head." I nodded frantically shuffling loudly to catch his attention and crunching the snow as i neared him whilst care sped to the opposite direction. Kai's head snapped in my direction as i lifted the snowball and launched it at him. He rose his hand tutting.

"Your gonna have to try harder then that babe." He grinned letting the ball drop in mid air, it was some real star wars type shit. His gloating was cut short as care's ball hit him in the side of his head making his attention snap to her with a scowl. I chuckled covering my mouth at his expression as i doubled over with laughter. Stefan came over to me laughing at kai's face as well.

"Fine were making teams now?" He started saying as the snow got heavier and heavier as it fell from the sky, the flakes grouped together before they rolled along the covered floor making what i would use to start a snowman but not kai. No this was the daddy of snowball's.

"Motus." Kai then lifted his hand to Caroline who flew over to where me and Stefan stood i panicked as i felt magic hold me in my place, letting my clear worry show on my face before i remembered, duh I'm literally a magic sucker. The ball came hurtling forwards as i leapt out the way leaving the vampires to take the hit.

Standing and brushing my self off i noticed two angry snow soaked vampires glaring in my direction as the spell broke, i gulped nervously taking a step back and bumping into Matty blues eyes and pushing him forward to which he shuck his head with a grin.

"Don't take it personal Matty but your like immortal, like seriously how are you still human?"
