Chapter Forty-Three

"What!" 

"Oh my God!"

"No way"

"Not happening!" 

"Your not serious!" 

"You cant take her with you!" 

I sighed sinking into my seat as everyone rounded on kai. He just sat there happily nodding dismissively. 

"Don't worry it's not for another week-" Kai started but bonnie cut him off, stressing at the subtleness of it.

"Week! Are you serious! We need more time then that! I understand if you want to go with him Az but you need time." My sister reasoned with me, i completely understood, in fact me and kai had planned this during the car ride.

"Don't worry, I'm packing up this week and then you lot are coming with us for a little holiday get away." She seemed taken back by the news.

"There's no way you can have prepared all that in short time, there's loads of us." Elena piped in and i rolled my eyes playfully.

"Actually, i planned it. As the leader i inherited a lot of homes and compounds, one of them is getting cleaned up for your stay. Me and Az will be staying in a separate apartment complex." Kai explained pulling out his phone to show pictures of the cabin home that would fit them all.

"If you have all these homes why are you staying in an apartment? It's a trap, your gonna lock us in that house and set it on fire." Damon argued and kai scoffed.

"No, were staying in the apartment until my position is sealed in cement." He narrowed his eyes at Damon and then whispered something to Caroline, she squealed but all the other vamps picked it up as well seeming to calm them about the whole situation.

I turned to matt and Bonnie, you know the ones without supernatural hearing.

"I feel so left out right now." Bonnie laughed as matt nodded.

"You'd think they would tell Azzy of all people." Matt stated and i frowned.

"That's exactly what they are not doing, dipshit." He rolled his eyes at me as i scowled playfully at him. Bonnie just huffed fed up.

"Screw this I'm going over." Bonnie stood and headed over to the little huddle they stopped talking but brought her closer and started gossiping again. I raised an eyebrow as her face lit up but made no attempt to go over. This was clearly a conversation that was not suppose to include me or matt, I'm guessing me. So i dipped.

I headed straight for the grill ordering a vodka and coke plus a burger as matt started work behind the bar, my phone was buzzing. Looking down at it everyone was texting me, but if they didn't want to share there secrets i wont share my location. Looks like it's me and Matty blue eyes for the win. Maybe ill invite Jeremy, yeah and Alaric.

Not even twenty minutes after i text the two did they show up smiling and pulling me in for a hug. We drank a little restricting Jeremy from the tough stuff.  I was currently whooping Ric's ass at pool leaving me the undefeated champion once again. I looked up ready to gloat when i came face to face with Damon.

"Oh, hey buddy nice of you to join the party." I peered around him noticing he was alone. I patted him on the back moving us to the bar where i ordered two bourbons for me and the old man.

"You cant just disappear Azzy, you gotta tell us your going out." Damon scolded and i rolled my eyes.

"I'm not three Damon, plus I'm with Ric and Jer." I defended chugging my drink back and smiling as i wiped of the bit that had slipped from the glass onto my face.

"They'll all find you eventually you know, its only time until they bust out the locator spell's." I scoffed wiggling my fingers.

"Yeah and when they do they'll have a very nice trip to the Antarctic." That made him laugh as he lead us to the darts.

"I was thinking, since you only have a week left here, why don't you stay at the boarding house? That way the movers wont disturb you and i get to see you more." I smiled grabbing a dart and completely missing the board making him snigger before he threw one and hit the bulls eye.

"I would but I'm like a fight magnet. Your just asking for trouble." Damon snickered scoring another bulls eye again, i gave up I'm sure he's cheating at this point.

"I laugh in the face of danger, I'm a thrill seeker." He responded and i shrugged.

"Fine a week long sleep over with the Salvatore's, oooh i feel like Elena." Ew Elena, that's the last person i wanna be, I'd definitely be Katherine though, she's the baddest bitch, after me of course.

So what she escaped Klaus Mikaelson? I became his best friend and wooed his brother, the psychopath might i add. I also still have Stefan and damons love so i think i win. I also went to prison so that gives me street cred. God I'm so awesome.

"There she is!" I heard a preppy voice shout making me duck under the pool table, scare me shitless why don't you? God i can't have a day to myself. By the shoes i came face to face with it was..... Caroline? No bonnie, definitely bonnie. Not a moment later i was pulled out by her and smiling innocently.

"Your not drunk again right?" She asked, no mom I'm not. I was about to reply but a brilliant song came on. I spotted Caroline over my sisters shoulder at the music station and i knew she had done it on purpose.

"Karaoke!" I yelled and she squealed. My excitement bubbled as we raced to the stage. Someone caught my waist making me turn to see Jer.

"I'm saving you, you will regret this in the morning." I nodded as he pulled me back to my seat, the rest of the night was spent celebrating, more like earning a shitty head ache with my friends.
