Dyad // Kai Parker

Chapter Nine

My hand slid from her arm to her throat and i could feel Damons panic rise but i just didn't care. I can't have any one. I thought that maybe, just maybe after i had opened up to her the other day about how alone i really felt, she would have at least thought this over but she didn't. Bonnie didn't care about me, no one does. That's why the grip around her throat was tightening.

"Am i that much of a monster? Why do you hate me?" I felt the tears bubbling barely noticing her face changing colour.

"I can't have anyone!" I screamed bringing her forward and slamming her back onto the tree as Damon finally intervened and grabbed me away from her. I latched onto his arm siphoning as i heard Bonnie gasp.

"I'm the defective bennet! The damaged and forgotten!" The tears slipped now as i caught a glance at kai.

"Ill play the role I've been given." I stated monotonously leaching off of Damon. Without another second passing i was thrown against a tree by bonnie as Damon stood speeding off rapidly. I then gathered myself and huffed stepping forward raising my hand with the magic i had siphoned. 

"Motus." I pulled bonnie closer to me staring deeply into her eyes as i glared with my own.

"I told you, i trusted you." She rose her hand quickly sending me back as Damon sped around me with rope tying me very securely making me scowl.

"Sorry kid your on a time out." Damon sat me down on a rock pulling me between his legs to keep me in place. I thrashed to no appeal as he placed his hands on  my shoulders so i quickly bit his hand. An hour or so later after tedious searching through grimoires bonnie had found something whilst i remained, indisposed.

Damon hauled me over his shoulder and down into the cave, i glared at his back the whole way down grumbling to myself, still very irked about the whole situation but a little less homicidal. Don't get me wrong, given the chance i would definitely knock Damon or the axe swinging witch out. Damon placed me into the circle on the floor whilst him and bonnie stood mockingly over me. I shuffled uncomfortably not seeing the need to still be restrained as bonnie began chanting making the ascendant click in her hand as she placed her blood on it

"Aghh." Bonnie screeched as she went flying back into side of the cave making my eyes snap to the entrance to see kai with an irked smile on his face and cross bow at the ready.

"Did you really think i hadn't tried to kill myself before? Because i have, many ways." Kai stepped further in looking at Damon as he eyed the ascendant.

"Not so fast or the next one goes in her heart." Kai pointed the cross bow back at bonnie and i finally snapped into the situation at hand. He was trying to murder my sister but she had killed him first. Damon thought for a second before running to bonnie. Kai's eyes fell to the ascendant then me and that irked smile turned to a real one when he spotted my very relieved grin.

"Miss me babe?" He asked smirking and i didn't even grimace at the name, i just felt so happy, the hole in my heart once again filled as i nodded enthusiastically. Kai pulled his eyes away from me then dashed for the ascendant just as Damon did. I watched intently having no lee way to get out of my restraints as they fought each other.

"Motus." Bonnie yelled throwing kai back and i bit my lip anxiously, this was intense, bonnie stood having heeled from damons blood and rushed into the circle with us. The eclipse was nearing as Kai shot back to the centre looking very annoyed.

"No!" He yelled out as the lights dimmed and i felt a hand grip onto my arm dragging me from the circle. My head connected with the rocks from the haste of the grip and the last i heard was the pleas of Damon and my sister.

"Azalea! Please no!" "Wait! Az! Stop!" Then i was out as i felt the familiar sensation of blood trickle down my head.

I woke up on the Salvatore sofa with a very iffy bandage on my head and the lack of restraints. Avoiding the soreness on my head i rubbed my eyes groaning and muttering profanities under my breath. Everything was coming back to me very slowly as i sat up ignoring my stiff body screaming at me not to. I looked up to see Kai staring at me.

"You pulled me out." I stated very irked. 

"I did, now lets talk. I have a very broken ascendant to fix and a patience running on empty mixed with a dying passion to get out of here. Are you gonna help me or not." He asked shuffling in his seat as my glare deepened. He sighed passing me a glass of water. I took a sip as he waited for my answer.

"You. Pulled. Me. Out." I repeated and he ran a hand through his hair huffing.

"I thought you were gonna do this, that's why i drugged the water." By then i had already finished half the glass, throwing the rest at him.

"I'm going to kill you in every way possible for the rest of my mortal life." I seethed and he nodded as if he was expecting this i became tired finding it hard to stay awake.

"Maybe you can hash it out with dream me instead." My eyes started to close as Kai neared me and i struggled to keep my eyes open.

"Ill save you some of the fun don't worry." I mumbled out letting my eyes close as i felt his arms grip under my legs and arms. 

"I know you will. Night babe." Was the last thing i heard, a soft kiss was placed onto my head as i completely blacked out
