Chapter Thirty-Nine

Eventual we found a very nice hotel about twenty minutes away from the compound, kai had calmed considerably and was now wearing that boyish grin he normally sported. It was wider then normal probably due to the little confession i had made back there, i couldn't think of anything else in the moment. It was that or see what spell the Gemini leader had cooked up for Kol, in turn gaining an enemy of the Mikaelsons.

Kai was busy booking the room for us as i looked out onto the quarter, i felt a tug on my arm turning to see kai with the room key making me smile and follow him, hoping he had a better sense of direction then me. Not long after we reached our room which was gorgeous by the way. Squeaky clean and it smelt great.

I pulled out my purse quickly offering it to Kai.

"Take whatever i owe you." I tossed it at him as i headed to see what the bathroom looked like. I hope the shower was great.

"What why?" He asked zipping it up and chucking it on the side making me frown.

"We are here because of me, my room my payment." I gasped at the bathroom, i would literally sleep in the bath tub.

"No, I'm here to, anyway there's a lot of perks to leading a coven, ill doubt they will even notice a dint in the account." I scoffed rolling my eyes playfully. When i entered the bedroom again i found kai unpacking our bags making me raise an eyebrow. He was so domesticated for a former sociopath. He smirked as he pulled out some black lacy under wear from my bag.

"Oh you should definitely wear these tonight." I nodded grabbing them off him with a sigh.

"it's a shame, i was planning on wearing nothing but if my boyfriend wants me to wear them so badly i probably should." I never saw him move so fast as the underwear was removed from my hand and placed in the draw.

"Your right, comforts your number one priority you should probably go with your idea." I hummed placing a kiss to his jaw before heading for the shower. I felt his gaze on me as i lifted my top, then removed my jeans leaving me in my under wear as i entered the bathroom. Throwing the last bits off and jumping in the shower i immediately let the hot water slide off my back and in my hair.

Not even five minutes later there was a knock at the door making me suppress a laugh. I hummed in acknowledgment. 

"You forgot a towel." He called through shuffling behind the door, i know kai i did it on purpose.

"Then bring it in." The glass around the shower had steamed up as i watched him enter and place the towel on the sink, his foggy head turned in my direction before slowly exiting the room. 

"You love me?" He suddenly asked stopping at the door frame making me smile.

"Get in here and I'll show you." Without another word i watched his silhouette remove all his clothes before the door was opened releasing the steamy air, his eyes latched to mine immediately as the water cascaded down my body, i pulled him closer so his toned body was under the shower head as well. 

I was looking up to him as we pressed ourselves together, my chest against his breathing the same heated air. Kai's hand trailed up my exposed back leaving goose bumps in its wake before he caressed the back of my neck tilting my head to allow him the most access as his head dipped down to meet mine in a passionate and mind numbing kiss.

My hand explored his chest and all the way down cupping his length making him groan into my mouth. I smirked at my affect as he continued his assault on my lips. A gasp escaped my lips as i was suddenly pressed against the cold tiles lining the wall's, it was kais time to smirk making me bite his lip. Which only spurred him on. His hands slid along my thighs hitching my legs up around his waist as he pushed me further into the wall.

kai's lips departed from mine and connected with the skin of my throat, he would suck and bite along where ever his lips took him leaving an array of shades across my skin. One of his hands lay idly on the skin of my hip as the other trailed along my ass squeezing every now and again. 

My hands roamed along his chest or rested on his biceps as he ventured across my skin, he began to grind into my hips eliciting moans from me and grunts from him as i felt his erection harden. Repositioning him self firmly between my legs he looked up into my eyes a new spark in them, dancing in his cool silvery eyes.

"Say it." He breathed out, not harshly or demanding but soft and pleading. I smiled moving my hand to cup his jaw which was tense as he waited. I laid my forehead gently against his as i whispered.

"I'm in love with you Kai Parker." 

Our eyes never left each others as he relaxed under my palm, utter disbelief flashing over his features clearly not use to the words spoken to him so i continued.

"If i could give you one thing in life, i would give you the ability to see through my eyes, only then would you realize how special you are to me." I breathed out watching the sweetest smile i had ever seen on kai bless his features. My lips met his softly as he returned it pushing himself into me, slowly and passionately he moved us back and forth. The sensation building the heat in my stomach as his paced quickened, his lips never leaving mine. The hot water dripping down our intertwined bodies, the fury of passion passing through us, the rapid beat of our synchronized hearts, all I've ever wanted.
