One month later

"Thank you so much sis. I'm feeling so much better now." I embraced Janice tightly. "I'm happy you're feeling better. You know we need to do this more often. Next time I'll come to your place when it's a little calmer in the practice." Janice informs me with a small smile. "Yes, That would be great. Then we can go to the movies to look some cheesy romcom." I gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"Okay, we'll do that. I need to go or I'll miss my flight." I say while taking my luggage out of Janice's car. "Take care Rose. Call me when you are landed." She instructs me while climbing into her car. We said our goodbyes and in an hour I sat on the plane back to reality. Back to my little empty apartment. Back to a life without Chris, without Jason.

Now we're a month apart I really missed Jason. He was my friend and lover at the same time. I can't even describe what I'm feeling right now, but it's anger most of all. Disappointed how he treated me like I was nothing to him. Like he didn't need my help nor my presence.

When we were together it almost felt like I was special because he said so multiple times. I almost believed him that I meant that much to him, but I was wrong. Finally I can move on with my life. Start over with a new beginning, a new path. I felt relieved that I can put everything in the past behind me and move on from here even the past will leave their scars with me.

Finally after a few hours, I arrive at the airport and made my way to a cab, rolling my luggage behind me. Feeling my stomach grumbling, I was thinking about what to eat when arriving home. The cab drive was silent, but I was a little happy about that. I closed my eyes the whole ride until I arrived home.

Luckily the elevator was fixed and I didn't need to carry my luggage all the way up. It was already late so I quickly call for a pizza, feeling more hungry then ever. I empty my luggage and seeing it was already dark outside I close all of my curtains, but stopped when I wanted to close the last one in the living room. I frown at the car that was standing outside my apartment. It was lighted by the street lights so I had a clear view inside the black car.

"John?" I murmur softly. When he noticed me watching him he quickly looked into the other direction. What is he doing here? I quickly make my way outside the apartment and walk towards the car. He was on the phone, between his lips a sigaret.

I gently knock on his window and John's eyes went wide for a moment. He quickly ends the call and I patiently awaits beside his car. "Rose, what a pleasant surprise how you've been?" He questioned me with an honest smile. I cross my arms and shake my head slightly. "John, why are you here?" I question him with a grin. "Oh, I was in the neighborhood and thought why don't I stop at Rose her place for a quick chat." He tells me quickly, his unsure tone betrays himself.

"Right," I giggle at his respond. "How is he?" I question him firmly. "Good, he's doing better. His shoulder does hurt from time to time and he needs to take things slow, but he will get there. You know how he's." He gave me a small smile. "I know." I reply him. "How you've been lately and Karl, how's he doing?" I ask John curiously. "We're allright Rose." He responds back with a small smile.

"Happy to hear that. Well it was nice to see you again John." I tell him with honesty. "You to. Take care Rose." He informs me while walking back and sliding into his car. I make my way back inside my apartment, letting myself hang against my door after shutting it. "Why are you doing this Jason?" I whisper to myself. I search my phone and dial his number. A little unsure about my choice to call him, but stand tall and keep my cool.

"Hi Jason," I greet him coldly. "Well hello you. It's nice to hear from you." He greets me quite cheerful. "It isn't likewise." I quickly reply him back. He chuckles into the phone. "So how you've been?" He asked me, his tone becoming more serious now. "Good, I'm good. You?" I question him, knowing he would never tell me how he really feels because that's who he is. He never shows his true identity to anyone.

"I'm good Rose. Still healing and getting stronger." He replies with honesty. I scrape my neck and swallow hard. "Jason I don't want John following my every move." I tell him stern. "John following you that's absurd. He just wanted to see you were okay." He chuckles at my respond. "Stop lying Jason. You wanted me gone, and I did as you told me to. Stop lying, and tell me why you're shadowing me." I explain him with annoyance. "Rose I just wanted to know you were fine that's all." He answers me softly.

"I told you I'm fine. You could just call me like a normal person and ask moron." I roll with my eyes. "Wow, you got a bigger mouth since you returned from New York." He laughs into the phone. "You bring the worst out of me Jason." I grin. He chuckles and stays silent for a few seconds. "Rose..?" He calls my name in hesitation. "Yeah?" I question him while awaiting his reply. "I'm glad you're okay. It's nice hearing your voice again." He admits softly.

I sigh and seated myself on my sofa. "I'm happy your feeling better Jason." I stated gently. Suddenly the doorbell rings. "Jason I need to go." I reply quickly. "Enjoy your pizza." He tells me before hanging up the phone. "What?" I tell myself. How did he know I've ordered some pizza?

I close the door with a pizza box in my hand and place it on the kitchen counter. My hunger is over even when the pizza smells deliscious. How did he know that? It's from the morning I ate something so I force myself to eat three slices. Thinking about the phone call I began to saunter into my living room.

I abruptly stop with my nail between my teeth. Still couldn't stop biting my nails while I'm a little stressful. No he wouldn't?! I thought to myself while looking around my apartment. My gaze stopped at the picture on the wall with grandad, me and Janice. I slowly walk towards it and stop in front of the wall. In the corner of the picture sat a black, small round something. No he didn't?

"Fuck Jason!? Now you've crossed a line!" I pull out the small camera and crush it with my foot. I retrieve my search to look for other camera's into my apartment.

"Why don't you let me go, damnit!" I whisper yell. "I hope it costed you a fortune Jason because you can pick up the pieces on the floor!" I yell in the second camera I found in the corner of living room.
